Posted on the Essendon board but I'll put it here too.

In light of recent events I think a rebrand of the club in inevitable. I've come up with an idea on a potential new logo that can easily be identified as Essendon.

Edit: Could even be used as a more formal logo in addition to a commercial logo similar to Geelong's set up.

Because that's exactly what it is. It's called a Biscione and was the emblem of the House of Visconti in 11th century Milan. It stayed on as a symbol of the city once the Viscontis lost power and was adopted along with the red cross as Alfa Romeo's badge in 1910.

Maybe something like Lantrak but reminds me of a real estate logo.

The current Hilton hotels logo.

80s might look a bit boring, but I love it because thats what we had when I was a kid - back when McDonald's was a real treat and not just something I get when I'm lazy and cbf cooking. Nice and nostalgic!

Did we ever get that 90s gear in Aus? I don't recall that script style writing. The "collar" chip packet looks familar though.

Only thing that i see wrong with it from an outsiders perspective is it doesn't scream Essendon with nearly six sash's and the bomber flying the correct way up.



I just manipulated yours a bit, but you can see the one sash on your shield looks similar to the Guernsey, maybe a bit thicker or add some shadow to it?
The plane anf the letter logo can be changed or added too?
