I always through HP was a really old media outlet. Not something that came out of the 2000's. Rebrand is definitely a winner.

Well it does say that in the article. Their nickname is the Gladiators.

But on that note, surely FC Brisbane City could've been reworded? It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue

Brisbane City just sounds odd, When I think Brisbane I think big country town, just like Perth. Melbourne & Sydney elicit the city feel from me.

Also the top of crest cutting into the roundel seems a bit sloppy. It looks as if they've tried to shoehorn the helmet graphic into the space but didn't quite get there.
