Following up on this, here's a screenshot from a video published today (addressing "the new female participation strategy", to give some context):

So, with the CA logo included alongside the state associations, further illustration of what is meant by "Australian Cricket".

Nothing, I was describing the subject of the video to explain the situation in which the logo was being used.

I don’t really like the way the horse bodies are facing the wrong way, but it’s a cool concept from what I can tell.

They are all facing "forward" to the right hand side, instead of into the past.
Though, I see what you mean by it looks like the horses have turned their head to check for traffic before switching lanes

Yeah exactly, I wouldn’t turn the head around, but the body should be coming from the left.

The changes make no sense aswell. The serifs on the original font conveys an idea of professionalism which is important for an institution such as a bank. The new font just makes it look like another one of those food delivery company businesses. And the light orange is so weak, doesn't give me any reason to look at it for more than 2 seconds.

Just a bad and pointless change, as is usual with these corporate rebrands.
