Canadian Football League teams like Hamilton Tiger-Cats are introducing indigenous imagery to their logo suite

Love it, looks really classy. On a semi related side note, I’ve wondered why Glenelg never made the switch to the updated Tiger-Cats logo instead of the hand drawn version they use. I also can’t tell if Glenelg consider the Tiger-Cats logo or the Melbourne style shield as their primary logo these days.

Ahh yes, the now-simplified tiger with one eye that has artifacts everywhere from digitisation.


The monogram/Melbourne shield is definitely secondary.

Speaking of SANFL grand finallists, Sturt have pissed off my detail-focused brain recently and are going with two different STURT text placements right now.
Old, clean placement with enough space around it.

New, 'off' placement which, while is consistent with the bottom text, it doesn't work at all:

If it's not an animated background then I'd say someone has repurposed a frame from the goal celebration vid they play on the big screens after Collingwood kick a goal (the magpie flies in and takes it's place in the logo)

I have seen it before. It was on a flag or banner for the last game at Victoria Park.

I just had a go with a Western Bulldogs logo. Always thought they could do something cool with the 90's junkyard bulldog type illustration and the old red and white band shield.

Pretty rough mock up, but this is what I got

don't like the top of the shield and how it points but other than that great logo, could do with a red and white out line around the sheild
