I just had a go with a Western Bulldogs logo. Always thought they could do something cool with the 90's junkyard bulldog type illustration and the old red and white band shield.

Pretty rough mock up, but this is what I got

I've actually also been working on a new dogs' logo, this one based on the traditional logo. Still editing and refining but getting there. Not sure which flag to go with.

The dot in these logos is confusing. Whilst I understand that it is for the "F". It makes it look like the word is "Scif I", and not "Sci Fi"

Doesn't surprise me that they have gone with a logo with a dark red background. Less painting required when replacing Coles Express logos! It was a similar story when Caltex migrated to Ampol.

I hope it's a darker shade of red.

Yeah, a big downgrade. Not a fan of sports logos without some sort of enclosure either. Needs a roundel/shield/etc. Tbh, it looks very amateur league.
