Didn’t think the original logo was anything special from a design perspective, but it was unique.

The new logo is better from a technically and contemporary standpoint but loses a lot of that unique identity by dropping the triangle/pyramid element and the sharp angles.

Would need to see how the new brand is rolled out over the coming months to see if it’s really any sort of upgrade - similar thing with the Crows at the moment (for example, I don’t think their new logo is great but the way it’s applied across all of their branding at venue which I see quite frequently now at AO is very well done)

As long as they keep this voice, I have no issues with it. Pretty sure I used to hear the TPG.com.au part 10 times a day

Having worked in a telco for about 11 years, I think the corporate speak would have been:
The new logo evokes unity, connecting people and show how playful we are.
The dot allows us to pivot to what our customers really want.

As another former Telco worker, I’m sure plenty of backs were slapped.

I can also imagine how they shoehorned your corporate speak into morning huddles with the sales consultants about how to bring it up when pitching a service the customer didn’t ask for.

Long time out of the telco game but would always take the time to 'acknowledge someone acknowledging someone else' on conference calls back when they were mainly dial ins

Yeah they have more details in other posts and stuff etc. Supposedly many mammoths lived in Utah, with fossils found across the state. Pretty cool!
