Gades one makes sense as an alternative application without the long leg on the R.

The Canes one, though. Ugh. Very bland. But the "Hobart Hurricanes XI" does seem to be a special brand they're using for a related team they're putting into the Guyana Super League.

Looks exactly the same as every modern logo. At least don’t neuter the wordmark you sandal wearing goldfish tenders.

That font is something I've seen before.

Looks a bit like Optima. Would have been used in hundreds of logos you may have seen over the years.

Aston Martin uses it I think.

Mazda itself has been using it for several years now.

It's been on the back of North's jumper since 2020.

It's only a European roll-out for now. Australian and US Mazda websites still have the current logo. I don't think we'll see it here until possibly early 2026

Yep and be on North Melbourne's gear then too.

I hate how simple it looks, the bevelled curves and sporty wordmark is what gave Mazda it's personality. I get that they're trying to move upmarket. But c'mon, that logo is iconic. Why ruin it? That new logo can zoom-zoom out of here.
