Logo question

Hi fellow feline fans,

I'm curious - what do you all think of your current logo? Is there something you like about it? Something you don't? Something you wish would change?

I've included a poll below to see if we can gauge what everyone's favourite is and why - for the sake of brevity I will only poll the post-royal blue first logo.

(Note I have only used the primary club logos, and not secondary ones like the "prowling cat" shield found on the current field kit).

I voted D, I prefer the modern looking logos.
However B has a special place in my heart as the logo of my childhood.

B is the first logo I remember or at least remember growing up with and hence it's always had a special place in my heart

C for me. Looks way more traditional and "clubby" without a cat on it. And we are an old traditional club so it suits.
Do have a soft spot for B though.

Yeah that one is really good. I like it! But I only ever see it on the jumper.

Of the 4 logos, D for me. It is contemporary. The others are dated. I do like the new retro logo too

I don't like D, the blue doesn't even look right.
I actually really like A, with B a close second.

I choose C, as that was always my favourite logo, still got a geurnsey with that on it, although when they changed it to D I was disappointed. Liked B too when I was growing up. The newest logo isn’t really my cuppa tea either.

I quite like C (for a classic looking design) and D. I feel D should remove the "cats" moniker and potentially change the font of the "Geelong" title.

What would you think about using something like this as the club logo (I remade this a little while ago)?

I voted for 'Other', the current secondary logo is my favourite. The shield shape, the prowling cat, it really suits us as a traditional and older club

Option D was a close second, not only because I've grown up with that logo but also because it's entering it's 13th season of use and hasn't aged at all, and the cat face is a versatile illustration suitable for merchandise and for marketing. Bronze medal would be Option B, while I never saw it used in the '80s and '90s it's been a very cool logo for Retro Round

Both the stalking cat and pussy mcpussface logos date from a rebranding in 2007. The stalking cat being the 'corporate' logo whilst PMPF logo is the marketing version.

The empty blue blob in D ruins it for me. I voted C for nostalgia reasons, but honestly the corporate logo should just be the everything logo imo.

Normally I can't stand logos that are shields with letters in them but for some reason I just absolutely love C.

Its should not be forgotten how Geelong got the Nickname the cats ... and it reverst back to a Black Cat. For me the Cat should always be black ..like in some of the old logo's..

I have said it before... cool yes.... there are other black cat teams but not many as old as us. The BlackCats ... not some blue and white furry feline

Even from a commercial opitunuity ..to play up on the whole black cat , wizards witches magic thing , it would have great potential to be our cheeseheads or never tear us apart .. The great thing about it ..its not contrived ..its apart of our history.
