We are to one sided, and we don't have enough foot speed... just general foot speed. we have too many who are nearly average paced.
We need some line-break runners, and we need better quality gut runners. We will have to build towards those. We need some very good small players, hopefully one will turn up from our current crop. Bedford, Chandler.? etc.
Being so one sided across the team, and so 'unco' when off balance and trying to get a handball away under pressure,. it is just attrocious that our players cannot at least handball on both sides of their bodies.
.... This causes us many turnovers time after time, and as you said, dumb football too often. Like the continual handball up the line to runners when they are corralled against the boundary. Just chip a kick over the top of them, instead of a 20 metrew handball to the runnner ahead of the ball. Chip-kick it over him, allowing him to run onto it, and hopefully he can mark the pill, eradicating any pressure, right their and then.
