Watching Freo & Hawthorn last week , not one player donned the long sleeves ?

Do clubs not bother with them anymore ?

Or , because they wear Home / Away / Clash .. its just too Hard ?

Can anyone display a complete snap shot of long sleeved AFL Jumpers. .. including the clash Long Sleeves ?

and Who was the last player at each club wearing a long sleeved jumper ?? I stand corrected !!

When wet, the new printed material (polyester) makes marking a footy on your chest more difficult than skin.
The old style acrylic or wool jumpers made it easier, and the unwritten rule was 'sleeveless when it was dry, long sleeve when it was wet.'
Any advantage long sleeve had is now gone.
As such, most clash jumpers are not even made in long sleeve versions.

I don't think I can remember a Hawthorn player ever wearing one (Tucky pre-dates me).

I seem to remember Taylor wearing one pretty recently (may have been this year), more recently than Bartel. Leroy Jetta has been wearing one a lot this year.

Carlton: Houlihan has definitely worn one more recently than SOS. I think Henderson may have worn one this year too.

Wow, all that money for one mark Definitely a wasted talent. Could've been an absolute star and was surprised when he got delisted. Also somewhat surprised that no-one else had a 2nd go at him
