Hello all,

I posted the quiz to my friends;
Which player has the longest premiership drought in between?

So far I got drew banfield 234 games 12 years for west coast 1994-2006.

Just wondering if there is anymore?

And I assume the current player that holds the record for longest drought since a premiership is NM Brent Harvey? 284 and still counting.

Banfield has the most of bona fide in between droughts. Doug Wade, Gavin Wanganeen & Barry Davis also had streaks of 200 +games.

17 300 gamers never troubled the scorers, topped by Robert Harvey on 383. Shane Crawford's 305th and last got him off the mark, the longest streak of those who actually got the prize.

Other than Brent Harvey (282), of those who have won, Dustin Fletcher is on 217 then Kane Cornes 182. Matthew Pavlich is also on 282 in the donut club.

On the Crawford thing - how many players have had their last game as their first premiership? I can think of a couple (ie: the guy who only played one game and the ruckman from Adelaide) any more?

John Longmire in '99 (he missed the '96 flag with a knee injury)

Going way back, Harry Vallence in 1938 for Carlton, after 204 games.
