The ball comes into the Collingwood forward line and Post smashes the ball away from Cloke for the umpteenth time today. He has kept Cloke kickless with big leap and punch today. Tambling having a great year in his rightful back pocket position sweeps it up and runs away from fat legs Didak and gets a wonderful shephard through a crunching hip and shoulder by the new look Steroids Mcguane who runs through Leigh FAT SLOB Brown. Tambling kicks a stabbing pass to slippery lil Edwards and plays on too eagerly and gets stuck in traffic only to weave magically through 3 dumb magpies in Toovey, Ball and McAffer.
Edwards bangs it long to CHF and it's Asssssssssstbury taking a speccie and kneeing Maxwell right in the back of the head and isn't it great to see. Astbury with 9 marks in the first half with not a lot of space to kick to because Collingwood play a boring selfish game of flood the back line and numbers around the ball. Anyway, Astbury chips it up to the new Richmond cult hero Big Ben Griffiths who almost takes a huge pack mark. But oh oh here's trouble Jack 'I'm better than St Nicholas' Reiwoldt crumbs at the front of the pack and handballs over to the new excitement machine Troy Boy Taylor in the goal square who torps it into the top tier of the Southern stand Punt Rd end. 10:15 into the 3rd quarter The Tigers are all over the Pies 13.6.84 to 4.2. 26
They are dominating clearances through Martin, Deledio, Cotchin, Foley, Jackson and new boy Gaff. Third on the ladder after 13 Rounds and looking at the Cats next week at the G for yet another 75,000 plus crowd. Been worth the 30 years wait
