Would rather get Bollenhagen, who sounds a bit similar to Byron Sumner. 19 y.o. South Adelaide boy, nice left foot kick, but never really settled over there. He changed WAFL clubs earlier this year due to not getting enough opportunity.
From what little I've heard is that Bollenhagen's main problem is a lack of defensive action. I'd rookie list him.

Day 3 of JP Top 30
Another GWS certainty
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/123390/default.aspx

Name: Stephen Coniglio
Club:
Swan Districts, Western Australia
Date of birth:
15/12/93
Height:
182cm
Weight:
82kg
Draft range:
1-3

NAB AFL Draft Combine:
Coniglio was hampered by knee tendonitis during his final under-age season and did not test at the combine. He did make the trip to Melbourne, however, and was generous with his time with the various media outlets that sought him out.

Jason Phelan says:
Despite his injury concerns this year, Coniglio has still shown enough to confirm his status as one of the country's top junior footballers. The onballer has the sort of breakaway speed, ball-winning ability, classy disposal and nose for goal that reminds some of the Bulldogs' Adam Cooney. He kicked four goals in the same WAFL Grand Final that famously saw Andrew Krakouer thrown an AFL lifeline by Collingwood. WA didn't enjoy a great national carnival this year, but his leadership was evident throughout. He had a tough choice to make between AFL and cricket, but football lovers will be glad he chose to enter the draft.

Kevin Sheahan says:
Coniglio was part of the 14th AIS-AFL Academy intake. Averaged 22.4 touches, 10.4 contested possessions and four tackles at the U18 championships. Has pace and goal kicking ability. Was an U18 All-Australian, was voted MVP for WA and won the Larke Medal. From Upper Swan JFC.

In his own words:
I'm a hard-running midfielder with good skills who can win the hard ball and break away on the outside.

I spoke with his cousin, and he reckons Justin's fav film is "Water For Elephants!!"

;)
Absolutely no idea what that means.

Would be lovely is Crozier slide, but he's more talented than a LOT of players in the draft and people won't let him slide long, just on upside.

Still feel like we need a rangy defender. Think: Ben Hart/Dustin Fletcher.

Talia's brother is the only KP Back i've heard anything about.
Any suggestions?

Bosely, even looks vaguely similar to Fletcher. Sam Frost could also be another candidate

Cheers mate. Just read a scouting report on Bosely and looks a likely type. Would he still be there at #27?
Would be surprised if we took ANOTHER midfielder. Brown and Crouch should be sufficient long term.

I think we may for go a small, mid, tall and Ruck. This would give our list its best balance. First pick should be for best player avaiable.

Don't forget 2 of our draft picks will be rookie upgrades for Wright and Riley. And boy, am I glad Schmidt's gone! His ability rhymed with his name.

I hope we hold out for a tall defender until pick 64 or perhaps our rookie draft and go for Justin Clarke, a country footballer from Boleroo with real talent. Not many have seen him play (me included) but there has been serious comparisons with Dustin Fletcher and most of the other KPD's in the draft all have real weaknesses in some place or another. I don't think they are worth the risk when we can develop our own. I'd much prefer we picked the best midfielder/small early and then went for Clarke or a mature-age backmen at 64.

With pick 27 i hope it is a midfielder. Disagree with the priority being a KPD. Who knows though. Lynch and Johnston and Jenkins could help out in the forward line if needed. Basically we got Brown so far as a mid and we have to wait until next year for crouch. Definately need to bolster our midfield depth. Best available mid or two then perhaps a KPP.

Gibson Turner
July 22, 1993, 178cm, 65kg (Federal)
Comes from Santa Teresa a community 140km east of Alice Springs, lives in Adelaide for school, he's a quick inside midfielder, smart around goals and has got a good endurance base. Very smart player and has good skills both sides of his body.

Interesting. Does he play locally? If so then the club would already know a heap about him. If not he may not be on our radar, we don't have a full time scouting network in the NT IIRC at I don't think he played that well in national championships. Hope the club has taken notice because he seems like a enticing pick up, remember though that these are only his highlights.

I think he might be in Glenelg's under 18s team.

Gibson Turner is boarding at Sacred Heart. Played the year with NT for the champs and Sacred Heart for a good portion of the year. Played about 2-3 games for Glenelg U18s, kicking a couple of goals in each game. Missed Glenelg's finals campaign due to a lower leg injury (fibula/ankle). Had a few off-field issues in the past which may scare off some teams.
