Ok ok, clearly I've accidently subscribed to the Aaron Sandilands fan website. I just always thought that if someone like Tippett had that size, he would completely dominate the game. I will speak no more evil about the subject!![]()
They might wish they could.. but they can't.On the topic of CHAD Sandilands though. I read an article a little while ago on the AFL website that made it sound like fremantle have already got dibs on him somehow. It sounded like they were just going to rookie list him without having to draft him first. Not sure if they can do that, but doesnt seem fair if that is the case.

yeah but in two years he may be a 'frosthome' and go back home too![]()
This is my opinion on how I think the DRAFT will go and hoping who the AFC
will take,Picks only up to #26, in groups, and not in order
1-3== Coniglio,Patton,Wyngard
4-10=Elliott,Tyson,Longer,Elton,Buntine,Sumner,Kavanagh
11-15=Greene,Adams,Tomlinson,Grigg,Bosley
16-20=Paine,Hill,McInness,Ellis,Crozier
21-26=M.Williams,B.Kennedy,Doherty,Talia,Kersten,Bolger
27- One of these Garlett,S/Forward,Downie,Ruck,Frost,Defender,Waldhunter,Mid
41- One of these
Mihocek,Ah-Chee,Spurr,
If you’re comparing this year’s draft to last year’s draft, it’s not as good and if you’re comparing this draft to next year’s draft it’s nowhere near as good, but I wouldn’t say it’s a poor draft. There will be good players picked from 30-60 like there are every year and there will be a mixture of mature-age players and kids.
Luke was an interesting one. We were made aware of him through Norwood late last year, but we didn’t really know much about him because he’d played in the Under-18 competition and only seven reserves games. Our guys had seen him play during the year, but hadn’t noticed him so we got the tapes of his reserves games. Five of them were pretty average and two were reasonable. It was hard to pick him based on that form, but Norwood rated him really highly. We kept an eye on him this year and he played some really good league SANFL footy. They were good judges at Norwood.
Brad is a ready-made, elite midfielder. He’s good athletically and a ripping kid. He’s tough and plays to win. He missed the last 10 weeks of the season after breaking his leg in the last game of the championships. His form early in the season was really good and he was having some 30 and 40-possession games in the midfield. He’ll be frustrated next year not getting a chance to play AFL when he’s playing in the SANFL and going okay, but he’s one to look forward to in 2013.
Kennedy isn't in this draft.
Garlett isn't as well I think.
I found that article interesting. Looking forward to part 2.
Wouldn't mind us taking Crozier if he was still at our pick, would have to have one of the biggest upsides of anyone in this years draft. There seems to be many players who keep going up and down in everyone's draft order on the forums, in particular Elton, McKenzie, Grigg, Crozier, Tomlinson, Talia to a certain extent. Haven't the Dogs almost all but committed to drafting Talia if he is at their pick, or is that Talia just saying he wants them to draft him?

I would have no problems with us picking up Waldhuter at 27. I'm sure he would be available there as well. We have two many players that are not willing to put there bodies on the line. Patty and Sloany are the only two that do it consistently.
McKenzie would be my other option but I think he may be gone by 27.
Talia would be another good pickup. Could really help both of them (Daniel and Michael) as they could form a really good partnership together. If GWS and WB pass on him, I think we could get him.
Let's hope Matty Rendall has the same luxury that Wall-e had in the phantom draft.
I think if GWS pass on Crozier, we are a definitely a chance to get him.
Good write up also Wall-e. As do all the other phantom draft selectors.![]()
The Phantom boys are pretty good as a whole. I'm not really expecting we'll have the ability to choose between Crozier and Ellis, but who knows, players slide.Good lord this Crozier fellow weighs even less than me.
Umm... is he still visible when he turns profile? Would a soft Rory Sloane tackle break him in half?
Thanks mate. There's some good eyes on the D&T board, just make sure you know who to listen to that's allThe Phantom boys are pretty good as a whole. I'm not really expecting we'll have the ability to choose between Crozier and Ellis, but who knows, players slide
