The old bush weed back in 80's was good, the sh*t dished up now just fu**s me, no more for this kid.

My old man's got a full sized weed plant growing in his orchard, which was there when he bought the place. He doesn't want to remove it because it 'would ruin the fueng shuie of the place' and is now trying different ways to dry it out, more out of amusement than anything else as he doesn't smoke it at all.

CBD wont get you ripped but has a long list of benefits and something that I swear by. Not saying I wouldn't like my CBD products to have a little something-something in them from time to time though.

I listened to Sam Newman's podcast with Mark Brayshaw last week, he's CEO of a medical marijuana firm. Their research indicates that the best results occur from a combination of CBD and THC. So the main issues with this are the legal status of THC and also for potential to fail a roadside drug test, I feel like they'll get around these issues eventually though.

Yeah you're spot on, weed is ridiculously strong these days. Louis CK noted this, I could only find a reaction vid on Youtube in my quick search but this is ****in funny

apparently it deters insects especially cabbage moth
I assume a caterpillar eats some and drops off it quickly and/or the scent keeps it away
what crop does he have in the field near it ?

It's sitting next to a stack of tomato plants, very cliché. Will let him know it's an organic insect deterrent in case he was thinking about ripping it out.

grubs do attack tomatoes it will be interesting to see if they leave the ones near it alone

I'm sure I've watched either a Netflix or Amazon doco about this where a chemist was dabbling in experiments back in the 70s/80s with his wife and had reams and reams of textbooks on his findings.
Terence McKenna who died in 2000 and his brother Dennis have done a lot of work in the area of psychedelics and their benefits, well worth googling if you haven't heard of them.
