Losing Horse........ Nooooooo!!!!!!!

A big rumour that will be in the Age on Wednesday.
Farmer to Freo
Ellis to Melbourne
Bandy to the Dogs

If this is the case Melbourne r getting screwed big time..... there must be draft picks as well

I agree that there would have to be some major added compensation heading the Demons way to even up that deal -- but there is not a snowflakes chance in hell that we would give anything more than a third round draft pick (in addition to Ellis) for Bandy. Even then it sounds a bit much for an inconsistent player like him.

But fancy that - A major Melbourne newspaper who's supposedly 'in the know about everything football', suggesting Freo getting Farmer, and only losing Bandy in the process..... and they want credibility??

I am not suggesting the Dogs need to give up more then just Ellis but that Freo need to send a hell of a lot mroe to Melbourne. Ellis for Bandy sounds reasonable but Farmer for Ellis is ridiculous. Freo would need to send at least draft picks to Melbourne, or maybe Heath Black?

Shhhhhhhhhh, if we don't tell Melbourne that he's crap and a waste of time, they might not realise. Don't tell them

CRAIG ELLIS IS A SENSATIONAL PLAYER AND MELBOURNE WILL BE VERY LUCKY TO GET HIM

maybe they didn't notice our comments :D

I hear that the offer from Melbourne consists of:
1 - $100,000 p/a
2 - Full time personal camera man
3 - Personal Catwalk
4 - Life size photo's of himself with out his shirt on

Oh, wait, was i supposed to be upset he might be leaving??

Craig Ellis is a human tackle bag and is constantly being caught. However we have no tall backs as it is so we cant really afford to get rid of him.

And he benefits us how exactly? During the middle of the year he had 4, 5, 4 and 3 kicked on him in 4 weeks...

What was that i said about bagging players?? ;)

I've never been a fan of Ellis, i like my backmen to be of the same ilk of Foster & "****" Kennedy

We could certainly do with the great Peter Foster but as much as we bag Ellis he does beat some pretty handy players he beats Richo almost every time he plays on him and yep thats the only player i can think of he can beat.:(

Todd has been great for us although he struggled this year I will be dissapointed if the club gets rid of him because of 1 bad year.Having said that Im sure we could arrange a trade for the right price eg: tall backman;)

The only finals football Ellis will be playing is for Werribee, ditto for most
of his Bulldogs team-mates.
As for Richo,he'd be captain coach of the Doggies.
Not that you could afford him anyway.

I think you will find almost all of the bulldogs players have played in more finals than Richos. And in writng us off for the finals you have obviously discounted the fact that our list contains the most talented group of young players in the land.

:D

First, I don't like Ellis, i don't care if he's playing his football with Timbuk****ingtou next year.

Second, Richmond are the team that has only played in the finals once in the last 6-7 years, where as, we have played five years in the last 7 seasons.

Third, You guy were beaten by the most in your three games out of all the teams in the finals. (70 + 65??)

And Richo captain? I won't even start on this one...

Thank god for that because the best young player you've
produced recently is UMM??????
Your leading goalkicker is Paul Hudson
Your best defenders are Ellis & Kretiuk,(if he ever plays)
You've squeezed the last ounce out of every player on
your list.
And for all those finals, what have you got to show for it?
Memories of never being good enough.

Get rid of a few of those dinosaurs,if you've got such a
fantastic group of young players, why do you persist
with Liberatore,Garlick etc?
Bite the bullet, these hacks have got you nowhere &
will continue to do so.
Or dont you have the time to blood players, does a couple of years of
failure mean the end of the Doggies?

Just out of interest do you barrack for Richmond and if not who do you barrack for?The reason we persist with Libba is because he is one of the greatest champions our game has ever produced.

Richo our Captain hahahahahahaha
Grant has done twice as much as him over thier careers and unlike Richo doesn't bag his team mates. Richo will never captain Richmond let alone the Dogs. And how can you brag about your side, you have made the finals once since 95. And remember 96, the year after making the finals when you f*cked it all up? 2002 will be the same. The last time we didn't make the finals, 1996? How did we come out 1997?
Your squad lacks talent and plays on emotion, that won't last.

They do have the players with the greatest eye sight in the league. I mean, who else can be no where near the play and still be able to see Libba hit Knights?

Why is it that Bulldogs supporters continue to believe Libba is a
champion & the rest of the football world think he's a blight on the game/dinosaur/eye gouging, scratching dog?

It doesn't matter that he "gives 110%",or that "he's a great bloke."
His on field actions continue to bring himself & the club
into disrepute.

Everyone respects what the Dogs have achieved with a mediocre list, they re-inveted themselves & played finals football, but
the cycle is complete.
If its this obvious to an outsider, you must see it too.

So,are you going to respond to the previous questions?

He is a player of the likes you'll never see at Richmond.

And the cycle has only just begun...

Edited to read the only thing that matters...

Thank god for that because the best young player you've
produced recently is UMM? Guido, Hahn, Murf...Whats your point

Your leading goalkicker is Brad Johnson actually.

Your best defenders are Matthew Croft, Hunter, who can also kick goals

You've squeezed the last ounce out of every player on
your list. We have 3 players over the age of 30.

And for all those finals, what have you got to show for it?
Memories of never being good enough. The same as you got this year

Get rid of a few of those dinosaurs,if you've got such a
fantastic group of young players, why do you persist
with Liberatore,Garlick etc? What wrong with Garlick? Kicks goals, gets the ball, Libber has the heart of a ****ing whale, and bleeds red white and blue

Bite the bullet, these hacks have got you nowhere &
will continue to do so. - And your team will get you far wont they. Richo and Ottens went missing when most needed...

Or dont you have the time to blood players, does a couple of years of
failure mean the end of the Doggies? Never doubt our exsistance. As Bulldog supporters, we are not born with Silver spoons in our mouths. We work bloody hard to get where we going, and we wont stop until we are where we want to be.

Well said! You should never hold Tony Liberatores succesful career against him.Unlike at richmond we are not carrying our veterans libba is still as valuable a contributor as he ever was.
