nope, need the ticket

what was the bet?

y make a bet then not worry bout the ticket..... try going to the tab where u made the bet and if u can remember which machine u put the bet on and wat time and date etc u mite have a chance coz i no they can check the bets that have been placed, but not sure how far back they go, give it a crack

I work in a TAB. There is a form you can get from your local TAB (or possibly on the net) for claims such as these. You have to fill out certain details about the ticket and pay an admin fee (approx $12 i think) and then post it off for the TAB to investigate.

I asked about something like that a while ago but was told it was not possible.

Has that been recently introduced or was i just informed?

No idea if it is something that has recently been introduced. Most TAB operators wouldn't have a clue about this. It's the kind of thing you might get asked about once in 10 years. The only reason I know is because when i started a shift about a month ago, there was a form pinned on our cork board that a customer must have asked about.

Last year at the beginning of September I did a multi bet of all of that weekend's AFL games into who I thought would win the premiership. I won the bet but when I went to go collect I'd found my ticket was no longer in my wallet. It had entitled me to about $2600 bucks so I was a bit annoyed. I went in and asked about it and got one of those forms ChuckNorris was talking about, and they found the bet that I was talking about in about 2 weeks. They said they then had to go and check the security footage to make sure it was me that had actually placed the bet, which took another week. After that week had finished, they gave me a call to let me know they'd confirmed it was me and that the ticket was thus far uncollected, therefore it was mine. I was asked to go into the TAB where I made the bet, which I did, and they gave me another printout of the ticket which I stealthily collected :)

You've been able to make a lost ticket claim for many years.
Theres a small fee involved & a waiting period (not sure how long)
If no-one collects it you'll get paid...if they do you wont

Im sure this info would be on the website...if you can get it to work?

seth

could try the old lost ticket, fill out the form get a new ticket, collect the new ticket then find the old ticket and collect it at a different tab lol

does not matter now, i was getting excited becuase it included black for the brownlow.... teach me for for losing my ticket anyway.....
