Low Scoring vs Frequent Losing

I would:

  • Prefer my team scores heavily but wins less often.

  • Prefer my team struggles to score but wins more often.

If forced to choose between them over the course of a season (not just a single game) would you prefer your team generally scores highly and loses, or scores poorly and wins?

For example - Ross Lyon teams often struggled to score yet strangled the opposition successfully. I'm not asking if you'd enjoy being coached by Ross Lyon, but asking if you'd happily take a hit to how entertaining your team is to watch if it meant they'd win more often. Counterpoint is the Matthew Knights era in which Essendon* scored heavily but lost frequently.

Pertinent topic given the widespread bemoaning of the present state of the game I think.
