Just watched Australian story , i remember his first year at minnestota , they had a crap year . Then got traded to chicago and then mj came back and the rest was history ( delly was going no where at cavs till le bron came back and he played his best 2 games ever when irving injured in finals vs golden state, and he stepped up ) i agree with the earlier posts thar mj did aust story because he realized after the last dance ,longely was important to teams victory , without him in the triangle him and pippen would have never got the ball . longely like most australians ( not pie man ben ) in the nba did their job without the inflated American ego. The usa team is a mostly a team of champions . I havent seen the last dance but will watch in october :)

I am playing ny 2nd season of Over 35s footy. I played rugby most of my childhood and early adult life, so footy is a new game to me. Took me a full season just to learn how to drop punt properly. Even in Masters, there are a few Jordan's in ny team. Nice blokes off the field, but they get white line fever on it. Not the nicest feeling in world to cop a spray cause you are still learning the game. I can empathise with Longley.

Enjoyed Part 2. Nice words by MJ at the end. Interesting he was socially isolated from the rest of the team.

That was some great watching. I'm not even a big basketball fan but thought it would be an interesting show to watch. Loved the first episode and have been hanging for the 2nd episode. Didn't disappoint. Great viewing.

Amazing the players they interviewed. Sounds like Luc and Pippen got along great as well as others like Kerr.

From 'the last dance' and some interviews I had heard, sounded like Luc and Jordan butt heads fair bit (more Jordan pushing Longley to be better). And Jordan was hard to get along with. But great respect shown from Jordan in that Australia story series.

And you can see why Phil Jackson was such a great coach. Both the last dance and this episode, the way he speaks to and about his players, he could get the best out of anyone and shows genuine care for them as people.

That was pretty good, what I saw tonight. Disappointed I missed out on the first episode.

It's somewhat interesting to see the lifestyle he lives now compared to when in the NBA.

How many of you remember him playing for Phoenix and NY? If BF was around, would he get massively shat on?

That was really good, bit disappointing they didn't show him scaring off 100 Filipinos with his mere presence during that brawl with the Boomers though.

Interesting to end it on an image of him in his speedos too. Not quite how I expected it to go.

Just watched the first one on iView and loved it, great show to watch after (or before) The Last Dance.

Must have been so surreal to the new guys like Luc when MJ (some sort of God by then) came back and started bossing them around at training.

A shame he was such a sidenote in The Last Dance, but extremely impressed that Jordan and co were on board for this.

I'm torn with Luc.

I mean, at the end of the day, he had a good career. But, what if he didn't go to the Bulls. He probably fizzles and is a disappointment. Just didn't seem to really want it. Had to be dragged kicking and screaming.

He was good mainly because he was physically blessed and had good hands. Give that to someone with a passion for basketball and you'd have seen a better career.

I feel bad for saying the above. He is a genuinely good bloke and led Australia to the promise land (NBA) and carried himself well.
