What a kick in the pants that those 3/7 awesome goals were not contenders for a vote in the rnd 17 goal of the year.

The goal over the head 'scissor kick' was great!
That tight left foot kick to the goals which were on his left side (2nd quarter),
and: that real real real tight angle..

Hope you guys know which ones I am talking about! ;)

I hope the boys are pumped up for this sat night against the swannies!
Should be a good game...

Yeah, pretty poor that he didn't get at least one of them in.
I'm also pretty pumped up to see us up against the Swans, we should have Lovett-Murray and Johns back in, so I'm confident we can take it right up to them.:thumbsu:

The goal over is head was probably the best IMO

The impossible one of the side of his left boot, whilst very spectatcular, most people would have simply snapped an easy goal on the right foot.

Great to see him kick another bag, he deserves to win a Club goal kicking award, even though I reckon he has had better seasons than this one.

Hate to spoil the party somewhat, but I thought Ricky Dyson's goal in the last quarter was the best goal of the night.

I'm tipping that didn't get a nomination either.

Those goals Lucas kicked were all awsome!!
Even when we were 4 goals up did everyone still feel the pressure...until lucas kicked that over the head shot to seal the match.
Lucas is definitely an underated player.

He's definately been underated the last few years, and yeah, I couln't relax until about the 25 min mark, i knew the quarter was going to go for 35 minutes

Loved that goal he kicked from the side of his left...measured and almost as if he does them every week.

There were only three people to touch the ball in that play from the centre bounce. Dyson 1 kick 2 handballs, 2 handball receives. Monfries 2 handballs, 2 handball receives, Bradley 1 handball. Quite brilliant and a glimpse into our future midfield.

Dyson's tap-on that got McPhee's goal was pretty special as well.

I liked Smokey's too... great tap on from Dyson... A lil lucky but good goal

I love it how everyone now loves Scotty.
I hope you're referring to non essendon supporters because every Essendon supporter I know loves him and always has. I've always thought hes done a super job playing in the shadows of Lloyd.

I reckon he was the whipping boy for quite some time.

A rich mans Mark Bolton.

I still have blokes who sit near me at The Dome who apologise to me about the way they bagged Scotland , he copped plenty a few years back from his own, plenty.

When Lloyd first went down I thought Scotty wasn't doing quite enough to fill the void but the last few weeks he has been awesome. Its funny how he got beaten by Whitnall the first time round but they just seemed like 2 different players the second time round.

Definitely in the early '00's he was abit of a whipping boy because Essendon supporters believed he was/is every bit as talented as Lloyd and expected him to produce what Lloyd was putting out.

Even when he has an off night with 0 or 1 goal(s) you can't question the effort he puts in playing CHF, constently providing leads, running up and down the ground etc. His value on the team shouldn't just be seen as the amount of goals he kicks

Agree,
he is a fantastic player and doesn't get the attention he deserves.
