Maybe he would if Kosi would stop crashing into him wheh he's about to mark 25m out. I would have thought brain damage was more likely than a hammy.

Radio said he tore hamstring off the bone but not confirmed.
If so that will be end of year...........took Lloyd 12 months for his so hope Bally's is not that bad.

Good news:
Luke Ball came off second-best after teammate Justin Koschitzke cannoned into him in the dying minutes in a crowded marking contest that saw Jason Gram kick the decider.
“Luke Ball’s up and about, but it was a very courageous effort,” Lyon said, dispelling fears of a serious injury to the key onballer.
“He’s sore, he got carried off and it was a massive collision – I think Koschtizke and Riewoldt were coming the other way – but he’s one of our leaders and our midfield stood up and I thought he was a big part of that.
“He could have kicked four [goals] today. They’re pretty confident [he’s okay], but they don’t really know, he thinks he’s just a bit sore.
“It was a massive collision because he got the head and then he was a bit wobbly. He was a little bit dazed afterwards, but you need those types of courageous acts.”

Thank god, heard stories ranging from a few weeks to 12 months. :|

Even if he's gone for the rest of the year, hopefully he will be able to get a full pre season under his belt.

INJURIES
St Kilda:
Ball (corked leg), Harvey (concussion)
Port Adelaide: Salter (concussion)

Finey just mentioned they rang up the club and the confirmed there is nothing to worry about, it is just a cork. :thumbsu:
But did say they were sweating on a few incidents that may catch the eye of the MRP.

Looked more than a corky, had my fair share of corkys over the years and they didnt seem that painful. Also the medico's seemed to be working on the hammy on the side lines.
Lets hope im wrong!
Would be terrible for Bally to have another long term injury.

Seriously it looked bad for Luke but hopefully not. As for "OX" what a frigging tosser this guy is. I hate channel 7 commentators. I would have listened to the radio commentary(5aa) but there call is sooooooooo biased to either crows or port that its laughable. I know we only won by 8 points but who cares we won and got the 4 points. We had 2 of the worst umpires (head and vozzo) and some other clown (keating?) who gave us NOthing all day. Dont be sucked in by Port Fatguts Williams said all weak that 5-6 of their players were playing for their future so had something to prove. As for their 2 new players today both have done ALL of the preseason training with Port and all the training throughout the season so they were always going to have a real dip. All I want to say is we won they lost we got the 4 points and are in the 8 and good luck to Lukey Ball through the week

PS Get rid of David "buffalohead" Shwartz

Sorry, but we've been taken down this road too many times to actually swallow this. I'll believe it when Bally runs back out onto the ground ... I bet I can guess how long ... "2 weeks?"

Yeah, now that i remember how he came off and all, i need to stop believing this crap.
What's the story with X?, Baker?
Baker & X both played at Casey, but neither were amongst the best.

That did not look like a corky. If it was, it would be ranked as one of the most strangest ones i have ever seen in footy.

Looked like there was a tear in there somewhere, although i would not have any medical knowledge backing me up. Hope it's not severe.

I don't believe it is a tear. He was up and standing in the circle singing the song and didn't look too distressed. It looked as if he seriously over-extended the leg, but there's no way known he'd be standing up unaided if he had torn it.

I had a look at the replay a couple times and it looked like he ripped it really badly. When he is being carried off you can see his hammy is hanging around his knee. Very bad. I hope its not serious. But to me looks like end of year injury.

B.O.G for X
