Whats the difference between Ball coming out and stating he wants to play for a certain club, and Bradshaw coming out and staing that he wants the swans to be his new home??? is that draft tampering as well, apparently not.
Also who will ball be training with atm, most teams are going back to training, can we train with us?

Yes he can - Leigh Brown trained with us last year before we drafted him through the National Draft - but he needs to be officially delisted from the Saints first (obviously...).

He doesn't need to be delisted by St.Kilda. His contract expired last weekend, so he is automatically delisted if he chooses to enter the National Draft, and he has until the 10th of November to decide.

Code:
"Out of Contract Listed players who lodge a nomination form at this time are delisted
automatically and must stipulate they are either entering the National Draft or the
nomination form is to be held over for the Pre-Season Draft (thus by-passing the
National Draft). Out of Contract Listed players should not nominate if they are still
negotiating with their Club but may nominate after the National Draft, if not delisted
by their Club beforehand."

Is it possible for Luke Ball to tell all clubs that he wants $800,000 a year
for one year. Then if he wants to move on at the end of the year, from the club who drafts him in 2009,that club has to swap him to the club of his choice for their 2010 last round draft pick?If we don't get him this year then definately next year.Of course if we get him then I'm sure he wont want to leave.:thumbsu:

Very little difference, except that Bradsahw has to slip past fewer clubs

Dean Bailey stated in an interview today that if he met Ball and Ball said he didn't want to play at Melbourne, it would be a very short meeting and they wouldn't pursue him.

Hopefully he leaves St. Kilda regardless.

I had a dream last night that Ball got picked up by Adelaide.

Wow, I really have to stop reading BF.

going by the article if welsh stays at essendum, it looks like they'll be out of the running for ball..

Bombers join chase for Luke Ball

ESSENDON has emerged as a possible contender for Luke Ball should he enter the national draft and Andrew Welsh leaves the Bombers.

Confusing the situation is the belief Collingwood will go after Welsh if it can't get Ball, and that it's also possible both Walsh and Ball could be at the Maggies next year.

i so reckon we are gonna get ball... i think he's told the shitkilda he'll weigh up his options, but he's already sorted out a deal that will get him to us... i also have a feeling eddies really wants to get this done to help make up some other trades that havent fallen our way...

i hope welsh re-signs tomorrow.... provided we know ball is entering the ND..

tbh i dont really care about welsh.. he is good enough - if ball is unavailable...

however, i think welsh and mcphee re-signing now would eliminate our biggest roadblock in getting ball.. welsh and mcphee would be on a good wicket and with both re-signed would make it less likely that they (essendum) would be willing to accept a big contract that ball will obviously ask for..

That article means nothing, it says we will picky up Welsh in the PSD< but currently we won't have a pick in the PSD!

We can De-List a Player after the Draft

Umm, judging from Robbo's article and considering there was nothing FACTUAL, not even a single QUOTE from either Essendon, Collingwood or Ball's management, I can only conclude that Robbo is taking notes from KissStephanie?

Cool, can you explain how that works?
There is 2 Drafts - National Draft(Selections go on Senior List) and a Rookie Draft(Selections go on Rookie List) they happen about 2 week apart where teams can make List Changes, So Before the Rookie Draft there is a Pre-Season Draft where Teams can have 1 more go at a Senior List Spot
