Luke Blackwells school team

Who did Luke Blackwell play school footy for? I was just wondering given Walker at caulfield grammar plaiyng a match this year.. if luke actually played school footy.. or just for the swan districts.. just curious how they do it in perth.

im not sure how it is in melbourne but in WA only guys that goes to private schools ie PSA play school footy (blackwell goes to a public school). im not sure if there is even a competition for public high schools hence their is little point playing for school as opposed to colts.

guys like franklin and toovey among others play PSA and have barely played any colts.

I am pretty sure there is a public school comp. You see them play in finals before AFL games sometimes, i think it's called belt up cup. Some Private schools also seem to be apart of this comp.

There is but its not at the same level as the PSA. From memory i don't think many year 11's or 12's play. I think its mainly a lower school comp. I think then if they are any good they go into the colts or play for their local club

I think you'll find that PSA stands for Public Schools Association.

Luke attended Mazenod College which is a Catholic College but doesn't compete in the PSA competition.

i played in that and i went to a private school. its mainly yr10's.
