If you had to choose between Luke Hodge or Sam Mitchell, who would you take?

It's like trying to pick between Hill and Smith as your wing man. Well, that's a bit easier, right... you wouldn't have to think too hard about it, yeah?

Umm...

I know all the words to 'She's lost that lovin feeling' if that helps...

Pretty good? He won the game for us in the 2nd quarter.

It still baffles me how Nathan Buckley didn't award a single vote to Hodge.
Nathan Buckley (ABC Radio); J Lewis, S Mitchell, J Gibson.

Gibson did get 32 disposals playing a lot of time as a lock down defender on Big Bud. Was a key part of our rebounding from the back half and he allowed guys like Birchall and Suckling to break free.

I'm not fussed that he didn't include Hodge in the top 3. You'd could make a case for half a dozen guys from the Hawks to be in that top 3.

Would have been nice for Sammy to get a Normie - reverse of 2008. They all had a great game (except maybe for Gunner's first half - he had a shocker.!!...who cares though...)

Hodge wins on stats, but only just. Both have been brilliant. Went for Hodge, though that might just be due to my man crush.

Mitchell to get you to a GF, Hodge to win you it.
Thought Hodge playing in 12 was actually a bad move, whilst Mitchell's 13 wasn't fantastic.
Mitchell's first half got us going, Hodge finished it off.
Impossible to split for 14 NS or over their careers.

Stats don't tell the whole story, just look at Dane Swan and Cyril Rioli.

Don't get me wrong, Gibbo was good but he didn't have the impact of a Hodge, Lewis or Mitch. To put it in context, the ball went inside forward 50 for the Swans 44 times yet Buddy still managed to kick 4.2 on Gibbo.
