Farmer was good for the Dees. On the weekend, and at times this year, Pickett looked even better than Farmer. I wouldnt trade Pickett for any player in the league. Seeing is believing. Sydney are no mugs, and he made them look like witches hats.

I'm particularly interested in the "if we're a real club that stands for anything" quote. Sayings like that bug the shit out of me. All clubs trade and what on earth is a 'real club'?

It doesn't matter, the situation is apples and oranges. One is a bloke who is playing in his home state, was traded in 3 years ago, has twice as long on his contract, is reportedly being pulled by a rift between family and his GF and the team has proclaimed bo more excuses, time to win a flag.
The other bloke is an indigenous lad who has actively admitted genuine homesickness for several years and whose team is rebuilding on the run.
Equating the two is entirely stupid.

1) Trump admitting he did something wrong
2) WC winning the flag this year

Don't worry I have no doubt Geelong want him (he's the type of ruck Scott likes) but I have no doubt freo won't trade him. On the other hand I can see you trying to get rid of Darcy (who Geelong won't want) and his contract somewhere.
