worth trading (no 4 draft pick) or delist?

i think he will develop into a good player, he's been in our best list for the vfl for the past few weeks. i think he may get a run this weekend. i dont think theres any point delisting him, too much talent for that, and trade him for who?? no one will want him on what hes done previously.

i say persist and fingers crossed he pulls his finger out and is given a go. i think thornton, norman, livo, teague, lappin and houlihan would be a pretty good defensive lineup.

c'mon pagan give him a go, he has to be better than bloody prendagast!!

What's the bet, just like Fevola & Houlihan, Livo makes a lot of people eat their words.:D

Would love to see it happen.

Sadly this will not be the case for wiggo - useless, trade if possible, although you would find it hard to get another club willing to give him a go.

He came back and did pretty well for us on Sunday.
His problem was disposal and that was fantastic. He has pace and can play accountable footy if need be.

Don't see why everyone gets on his case... guess he's just been more prominent than most in the last few years. He's no superstar but he's no dud either.

Agree with you Jimmae,

Wiggo alsways puts in and runs hard and rarely pulls out of a contest. Give him some time to develop and I'm sure he is capable of being an important part of our team. He may not be a superstar in the making but that doesn't mean he's no good.

I reckon the problem with Wiggo is he still seems to over eager at times. Needs to stay off the caffeine and keep his head. Over commits to contests usually and overruns the play. I'd rather he do this than not contest at all. Attitude wise, he's the perfect footballer, if he can play like he did last week, he will be a Blue for years to come.

I like Wiggo's endeavour, He has great pace and is as hard at the ball as anyone at the club.

But I think he is cursed, he will back himself to leave his man and attack the ball. Only for the ball to take a miraculous "Doosra" spin, bounce off a teammates foot, hit the back of an opponents head and land in the waiting arms of Wiggos man, standing clear 40m from goal... making him appear quite foolish. needs a change of LUCK.

If he keeps attacking the ball the way he does, It will eventually turn.

One knock on him though is, when he's under pressure his hands turn to stone. maybe that will change when his luck does.. Confidence is amazing thing.

livo has the potential................ but he was overlooked, to allow martyn to get to 300 games. You got to be playing in the seniors if you want to develop into a good player........... no use leaving him in the two's.......................... oh well another anti pagan post. looks like i just can't help myself

Aw, stop pouting.

Yes Martyn was taking the place of another player but I believe Livo was effectively suffering second year blues (pardon the pun) last season. Down on form, timing, confidence and not really producing it in the Bullants either. Now he is improving in the Bullants, the grounding is there to throw him back into the mix. Unfortunately if Livo comes in tomorrow as a late replacement, it will be for Kouta as they are of a similar height and pace.

I agree Wiggo will be alright in the end. Just a feeling I have, as long as ODN said, he doesn't over commit to the ball as often or should that be stay off the caffeine.:D

now considering that i just put forward a justified post in regards to livo................... i don't believe that the "Aw, stop pouting" was necessary, considering you are supposed to be a mature adult not a child.

in response to livo getting a game......... doubt it. If he does it wont be at the expense of the captain.

I replied to the post. Considering the other thread and the PM I sent you though ...

Clearly pouting. Let's stop digging and move on huh? There was no direct mention of Pagan in your post and as I said, you can post it, doesn't mean you won't meet some opposition though.

Time will tell. There is still debate about whether Kouta is fit enough or not. I hope he is but if not, considering he is named at CHB, Livo would be the perfect elevation of the emergency list. Failing that they will bring in Fisher and shuffle the team around.

I was at training yesterday and he did look a bit suspect...he did the full session but still seemed to have a slight limp?????? I still think it's better not to risk him rather than bring him back underdone.

Would like to see Fisher back in the side.
