When i heard he went to Richmond the first thing i thought was what role does Mick have with the club.surprisingly i hear he may have been offered a role at the Tigers. If true was it a part of a lure?

Mick has big raps from everyone for his footy knowledge and is apparently very keen to be involved at AFL level. This is a good first step and I think it will benefit us.

I dare say that Mc Guane would no doubt have had a fair bit to do with this selection . Why else would they have taken such a "smokey" with such a low draft pick ?

Unless they had some pretty strong inside information , it dosen`t make to much sense. Mick would no doubt have seen a fair bit of him and obviously rates him pretty highly .

Lets hope we have a win with this one for once unlike the myriad of duds we have ended up with over the years .

You are right. I am best mates with Luke i play for the same football club as him and he deserved to be picked up in the draft. Im not saying he will make it im not saying he wont make im just saying he is a good project player for the future.

I also saw him out in surfers on sunday after the draft on the saturday and he is very happy and was moving down there on teh monday. He said terry just rang him and said that he if he plays well conistantly for coburg he will get games for Richmond.
