Huge bullet dodged, could have been far far worse. At the very least, Parker will have a full pre season even if he doesn't make it back on to the field this season.

Look at that his leg gets trapped and his whole body falls back as Adams completes his tackle, he could of quite easily snapped his leg in two and be out for 16 months.

Longmire says Parker is out for 4-5 weeks.

Horse we have been around long enough to know that when the club says 4-5 weeks it really is 8-10 weeks.

McGlynn for instance was a 2 week injury and ended up being about 6 weeks.

Why do clubs lie, is it to give supporters hope? Cut the bullsh*t and just tell it as it is.

Good chance to rest him prior to prelim/grand final

Will keep competition for spots alive

Were you trolling when you said that

Amazed that it wasn't a more serious injury. Looked terrible when it happened. So far seems like best case scenario. Besides, parkers young so should heal rather quickly. Although, I'd have my doubts about including him even he was right. Surely that would play on his mind.

Agree with that, we've heard it all before. Multiplying by two is generally closer to reality.

He's gone for season, let's stop putting pressure on the kid.

Agreed. Best case scenario is GF Super Sub
