good game from Luke coming off a handy game first round.
If Luke seriously wants to keep the dream alive he needs to work with someone on his snaps for goal , add a bit more mass to his calves and thighs to!!
good effort from him and by far a more natural forward than backman![]()
...Their is always a qualification with Lukey's performance...no matter how many goals kicked...or marks taken...or tackles laid...
The continuing chorus is...Lukey's ok we are just waiting for him to stuff up...
Or the old chesnut...theirs better players than Lukey back at Coburg...blah blah blah...if Lukey won a pissing contest it would of course be a fluke...
Now its about Lukey attending with Mass...![]()
...
Maybe thats not such a bad idea at all...whether it would stop the constant McGuane demonizing is another thing...
Even then I suspect an Excorcist wouldn't help much...
I actually thought he did well in the 1st half , But as usual had some typical McGoof moments where basically he just cant seem to do the simple things right. But is so far performing better than i expected
As we have discussed all pre season, its the games against the better sides that he needs to deliver what we need not against the 'LOW' Teams - Lets see how he performs against the Collingwood,Hawthorn,Swans,Westcoast,Fremantle,Geelongs before we pass him off as the next coleman medalist
But there is a bright side to whats happening with luke , Maybe we might be able to flog him off to Carlton as a KPF next trade period
Contracted i believe !Or if there's currency, let him go for nothing as he's a Free Agent.

Yeah or maybe GWS might offer us WHS and we would be asking for a sweetener to go along with the dealYeah they'd probably offer us a second rounder at this stage - but in typical Richmond "totally-overrate-a-spud-after-one-half-decent-year" fashion, we'd probably knock it back!![]()
What I'm liking about McGuane at the moment, is that he is showing the rest of the team that reputation and natural talent is not going to get you a game. You need to follow Dimmas team rules and gamestyle. I think there are many more talented players at Coburg, but as long as McGuane continues like he is, he will continue lining up in the forward pocket. I hope all the young players are learning a lot from McGuane about teamwork, desire and getting the most out of your abilities.
