Marong the team to beat. Although the age of a few have restricted them to a few games only, Corey Gregg, Knott, Tibbett, Geary, Robins, Manley have all misses multiple games. Are they resting players or injured a lot.

pyramid hill going to implode?
We talk about clubs further north spending up big, Pyramid would not be throwing around loose change.
And have exactly nothing to show for it. I cant see them getting close this year.
Anyone got footage of the sling tackle in the Bridgy/ Calivil game? 5 weeks!! Must have slung him into next month.

Anyone hear any updates on the movements of the five Golden Rivers clubs?
It seems that the offer from the Picola league is five come across or none in order for a two-division competition to be revived with a north-west division and a south-east division. Any less than five means there would be one division with additional travel for the southernmost clubs.
Apparently, Wandella is having a vote this Sunday and the club is supporting a move to the Central Murray over all other options.
Does this mean that there is a chance that Macorna and Murrabit may end up in the LVFNL? I am guessing that the two clubs don't have hockey so the NCFL wouldn't be an option.

I think all 5 would prefer picola, but the sticking point is not affiliated and the feeling theyll lose their best juniors.
If they go central murray, 3 clubs should merge macorna, wandella and murrabit, that way theyd compete in all 3 grades. Look at the former mallee clubs prospering from merging

Excuse my ignorance but why are these clubs only doing this now? Wasn't it basically decided 12 months ago Ultima would move?
Shouldn't the other 5 have sorted themselves out by now?

The board did a review and they were waiting for the results of that thinking their would have been some plan for there future. The only plan for them was the league was to disbanded and they can find themselves a home wherever they can.

James Flaherty appointed coach for next season at Marong. Huge appointment. Thought Geary might have been a walk up start. you would think he would get a coaching job somewhere.

From what I heard it could of gone either way. Bridgewater held them off in the dying minutes of the game.
Inglewood got over pyramid hill today and will take on marong. That will be a good game to watch.

Probably at the stage of needing to look at this. Has worked at Bridgewater with Sharp taking over from Ladson.
