Lyle, Guerra out...

Poulton and Steinberner in.

Obviously Steinberner brought in to play a run-with role, probably Camporeale.

I watched the Central-Sturt game last week and he was very good in shutting down Squire (who obviously isn't as good as Camporeale) and having 20-odd possessions himself. His skill level looks to have improved, he does need some confidence at AFL level though, which may be hard to get having been on the edge of delisting for a few years.

Poulton would just be there to replace Wilson, similar players, I hate not having Wilson there but Poulton will hopefully do ok on the blues Hawthorn-esque half-forwards of Houlihan and Lappin.

Burgoyne is back in to do nothing all day and kick the winner after the siren with a mongrel punt.

I would expect Port to win just by virtue of having more players capable of kicking a few goals, but the midfield should be a great contest

Port by around 4 goals....

Dropping Lyle gives us a stronger chance against Carlton. I feel for Guerra though because I think he's a pretty good player and deserves more of a chance.
I really hope they don't have Steinberner running with Camporeale because he'll get burned.
I also want to know what Bassett has to do to get a game?

I'll tell you one thin though, I'm pretty bloody happy about Lyle being dropped. May he never play again!!

Its about time Lyle got dropped. I feel for Guerra also. Hes one of these players that will do a Scotty Hahn and go to another club because he isnt getting much of an oppurtunity. If you could choose between playing 16 games a year, 95% of which was on the bench, or playing 13 or 14 games a year of full game time, id rather choose the full game time. I think we may be losing him at the end of the year, unless he starts getting game time.

Last time we played Carlton, Camporeale was left basically on his own for the whole game, he had 34 touches and kicked 2 goals. I think Lyle was on him for most of the game.

ARRGHHH im actually really pissed off about the Guerra thing. Whats this gonna do to his confidence?? Been dropped for the second time in three weeks, and when he gets a game he sits on the bench for most of it. He was a good contributor last year, and i would like to see him get a lot more game time around the forward flank. I hope he doesnt go back to victoria at the end of the year...hes got a hot girlfriend too (who is friends with my ex)
