Mackay, Rocky or Townsville?

My sister lives in Gladstone.

And now so do I, but she's moved to Ayr, about an hour's drive from Townsville. Townsville is nicer but Rocky has grown on me. Yepoon is nice too. Gladstone is a bit of a dive but my mum's here and I like my job so I tolerate it.

I am in Agnes
Bundy is a cute looking town therefore it would attract retirees
Fruit picking dont pay much but the Sweedish tourist doing it are hot.
and thats about it in Bundy
Great climate, nice building, green all around, has everything you need
shop wise.

I love Agnes. I have a friend who has a big fully equipped shed in the bush just outside Agnes. We go down for weekends a few times a year.

I hate Queensland weather

But I have family scattered up and down North Queensland.

If I go to Mackay I have 1 uncle/Aunty
If I go to Townsville I have a cousin (+his family)

If I go inbetween I have 2 cousins (+1 family), 1 uncle/Aunty and my grandma.

But if I had to move up there, Would look at proserpine/Airlie out of curiosity, but if it’s too expensive aim for Ayr/home hill.

Was at my sister's in Ayr at Christmas. I liked it. It's also only an hour on the highway to Townsville if you want something bigger. I'll probably move up that way after my mum falls off the perch here in Gladstone.
