wheels falling off.. ha ha whishfull thinking... without sounding like underbelly i think the group has got stronger with the handy inclusions and should be there abouts come the end of the season.

I take excretion from that comment.....

Good crowd hey ? Looks like Ewart & Corr are prime for a big year.
Add in a few players who were unavailable through injury and those
whose pre-seasons have really just begun, I'll think this is the best core
group we've had in 3-4 years.

 

[Great White Hope]

Today was a bit of a thrill for all Macleod supporters with Michael Hurley making his debut for the bombers. Obviously they lost but he clearly beat Tredrea. His parents were interviewed pre match as well. He would be the first player in a long, long time to have played in the senior side then go on to the top level.

What a debut from the young fella. Dated Tredrea and handled Westhoff with ease earlier in the game. Big thrill for all at Macleod and great to see Damian and Andrea doing some media street before the game...but can someone organise a new MFC polo for Damian though!

Anyone know whether Andy Bennett's head is still attached?

Had a look at yous guys yesterday and was pretty impressed. Should be out of yous and Diamo for sure. One thing i did notice was that number 8 (big tall fella) got in to some good position on his own infront of goal but was ingnored and the ball was kicked to 50/50s. He could be dangerous if used properly.

Have too say I was pretty impressed as well. Considering Shaw, Cottier, Andrews and Watts were out. With Reimers too start training this week. Makes it also look good to know that Tsingaris will come into the side mid season or so. I would defintely say best squad I have seen in some 18 years at Macleod although those early ninites were not too much to write home about. But from 98' onwards looking good. Come on - can't wait to start. Macleod really seething over last three loses, would not want to be a Hurstbridge player on the 18th.
