Mad Monday

Thought the reference to people at the Cats having no idea where Bailey was between Mad Monday and their B and F Thursday was pretty telling.

I'd keep my head down for a bit if I was Bailey. Think Caro probably has more that she hasn't run with if you read between the lines of the piece.
Thinking the Dogs might’ve dodged a bullet getting him off their books. It hurts for me to write that

I know the Geelong players love the media attention, but next year they should be having their mad monday on one of the club provided farms the players get. Have it out of sight of the cameras, private function.
That’s part of why it hurts . The club and Dangerfield worked their backsides off in getting this to the level they did . It was no accident it become such a big media event and now that’s down the drain

Generally speaking when our club doesn’t want to keep someone, they’re right.

Seen it a few times now with Stringer, Hunter, Dahlhaus (to a lesser extent, he was pretty well finished on field), and it seems Bailey is the same. He never does anything in isolation that’s a horrible sacking offence but he just continues to make little errors in judgement that grind on the group over time. All this stuff he’s done at the Cats thus far he did at the Dogs.

A lot of supporters don’t hold out much hope for Jamarra.

Rightfully we need to ask why we keep getting ourselves into these situations but our ability to pick when the right time is to turf the players is pretty impressive

What are you on about? Mad Monday was a big thing while Dangerfield was just starting his career for Adelaide. If anyone deserves credit for it it's Scarlett. Arguably got more media attention back then too. Biggest difference back then - particularly in the 2011 iteration - was the whiners like that one politician, Neil Mitchell and Barassi were mocked for being sooks. Now they're kowtowed to.

haha more innocent times mostly, St K schoolgirl a bit controversial. SWAT becomes ICE if redone today?

Or just get off instagram for an afternoon honestly. Bailey must have a crippling social media addiction if he can’t even go one day without posting

I've never understood Victoria's obsession with watching Geelong players dressing up each year. It's really weird.
Driven in part by a lot of work behind the scenes mate . Relationship building either journos and making sure we get all the major networks down

But why the fascination with grown men doing dress-up? I just don't get why Victorians have been obsessed with it every year.
The level of planning we put into it would be a level above others which helps drive a lot of interest too

I think the dogs were managing him a bit more tightly than the Cats have been, and the reason why they didn’t get into a bidding war to hold on to him.

You all miss out next year on seeing hilarious costumes like Smiths . Plus Danger of course

Its not the costumes its the comments Bailey Smith made on the Caro picture on his IG before he deleted it.

"Caro never looked better 💦"

Do you think thats appropriate? the bloke is a walking nut case if you have to flip the bird at every picture you pose in.

I’m gonna back my boys in to get it right . One misstep in 20 years of mad mondays is still a good strike rate

Congratulations to Mitch Brown on his bravery this year however he's starting to make everything an issue or feel offended easily.

The other thing is if a female said what Smith said with the captions about Caro no one would beat an eye lid. Double standards?

I also find it incredibly stupid that the 🌽 didn't like Brad close having face paint. If you have a bad week or day at work as a average person does that mean you can't go out the next day?

Pfft world is getting soft and woke
Dressing up in drag is the furthest thing from woke, corn treats footy like it's do or die at all times instead of treating it like just a game and the fact letting your hair down 2 days after a GF loss shouldn't ever be frowned upon. Had no issues with the mad Monday stuff just the Baz comments were inappropriate which is what they have been pulled up on.
