I was mucking around on practice mode yesterday, and I noticed something.

My rookie QB has big ratings in accuracy deep, mid, short, play-action, throw on the run, etc. But he sprays the ball so badly at the faintest touch of the left stick, when not completely set, and even then, after he's moved around and then set, he still sprays the ball badly.

Meanwhile, Chad Kelly my new back-up QB, has much lower ratings in S.M.D accuracy, fairly similar in play-action, thrown on the run. But he pretty much never sprays the ball when moving around and even when his feet arent set. And comparing all their ratings, the ONLY thing I can see that is perhaps causing that difference is -- either AGILITY or ELUSIVENESS which are more to do with a RB's skillset. But that's the only difference, where Carsten is really badly low in those and Kelly is much higher, tho his ratings at all the QB skills are lower or much lower than Carsten's.

TL;DR -- maybe a QB controversy in Cinci?

Another thing I noticed....

When I completed my training drill, with Carstens my starter doing the actual drills....when it shows you the list of XP earned by players, Chad Kelly got like 600 XP while Carstens only got 100 or 200. And Carstens is on NORMAL progression, while Kelly is on SLOW progression. I thought something was up, but the same happened on defense. I have a few rookie D players who are QUICK or SUPERSTAR and they didnt get as much XP as NORMAL players on D. Got gold medal on both O and D so it makes no sense.

Got carved on the ground early and he blew open the lead. But second half i figured out what he likes to do and with some revision next time we play that wont be a problem. His passing game was pretty rudimentary too, and wasn't a problem to defend for the most part. I fell into old habits when down by a lot of just throwing deep post routes leading to a handful of interceptions, but if you play conservatively on offense you can keep pace with him (note for next time).

Sorry i didnt give you a better challenge this time Cockliff38 but we learn from our failures ;)

GG, GG.exe. Was expecting way more Mixon, but you went aerial from the get-go. The penalties were off the charts early but it definitely settled later in the game.

Stats
Winston 156 yards, 2TD, 1INT
Carstens 259 yards, 2TD, 6INT

Mixon 48 yards (11 carries) 1 TD
Sims 42 yards (9 carries) 1 TD

Beckham 87 yards, Austin 67 yards, Humphries 52 yards.

INTs - Smith (2), Wilcox (2), Forston (rookie), Henson (rookie) & Spence
Fumbles - Burfict (2)

Martin would've had 200+ rushing but I can't see his exact numbers because I just traded him haha. Already had him on the block with offers waiting to be reviewed. He broke his ribs (five weeks) so I shipped him off

Btw, the penalty sliders felt perfect. Bucs incurred about 65 yards, Bengals about 89 yards.

There were a couple DPIs on both teams, which were very obvious and rightly called, there was one facemask against me, there was an offsides by me, an offensive holding on Bucs and on me. So it felt really balanced and not were you see one particular thing being overcooked.

However, one thing I think might not revision is the roughing the kicker rule. I think we can get rid of that altogether even, or just bring the slider way down, because you wont ever see a kicker getting injured on a roughing call in Madden, so there's no use for it, especially when we're all trying hard to try to block a PAT, and you cant help but lightly touch the kicker or even just running in front of his face the ref was throwing a flag. I think i got done for like four or five roughing the kicker calls on PATs.
