Saw a play from the live stream. 2 secs left end of the half. Packers down 8-9. Easy FG from about 30 yards out. Packers decide to pass. Post route across the middle, TD. Went for the 2 pt, got sacked. Then the stream cut out.
Nothing is easy online. we both missed 1 "easy" FG. and i missed a PAT badly.

i had to stop the stream at halftime. i was getting some bad lag.

Man that was a great game. I dont know how i dropped the INT on the first drive. i dropped a DE and you couldnt of hit him any better.

I couldnt stop CJ in the 2nd half, and you kept making weak spots in the zone so i exploited them.
On the first TD i threw to Kendricks up the middle he was my 3rd read till you cleared out the middle and overloaded the my right side. so i made him my first and he was wide open. You could of had an extra 90 sec if the lag didnt force me to run out inside the 2yd line.
26-20 would be a more apt scoreline with the lag.

Yeah you dropped a pick when the threw DT a post.

Derek Wolfe dropped a pick 6 on one of your screens.

You destroyed me in the pass, especially 2nd half. I thought i kept your run in check tho

yeah my run game is kinda shit online. most of them i ran right into a blitz, i had like 5 good runs. and 3 of them were short/goalline runs

the 2nd half you started to run. the TD run you had was bullshit. i had him 2 times but tackled to late.
Yeah. Usually I like to run it a lot more. Because I've been trying my hardest to protect Brady.

Your last TD drive I was stuck in-between trying to let your score and being ultra aggressive/ then trying to stop you at the goal line

on the kickoff prior I was going to go for an onside kick, but thought that was too cheesy, so just squibbed it. Shoulda on-sided it

All these pussies throwing short and over the middle with drag routes, Kellen makes no bones, no secret, that he goes vertical all the time, disproving the "noodle arm"
Brady will torch you

That's if he even needs to throw it once. CJ will be breaking off chunks every other play

i take what i was given, when LicoriceAllsorts left the outside open i would take that. forcing throws gets me in trouble. and i love to chew up the clock so my D doesnt need to get exposed much.
I was being to fancy 2nd half especially. Doing zones with one guy in man, bring this guy over this side, etc. etc. Killed me. But just trying stuff out

First half (until 3 mins to go) I was acceptable on D but then you turned it on

The stats against Blacky don't do justice tho.
Fournette had like 7 carries for 10 yards. Then he pulled out that Wild Cat Monster formation and snapped it before I could Base Align. Got a chunk of about 15 yards. And then back to being bottled. It was only at the end, I was down 6-7, and charging for a game winning FG, when I threw a pick I think with 1 min left. I let him score a TD, so I could get another crack at tying the game, otherwise I'd lose, Fournette with 80 yard scamper. Blacky up 14-6. So I drove upfield in about 30 secs and scored the 2-pt PAT, to tie it at 14-14. He threw a pick. I had 15 secs to try to win. I threw for 30 yards. 9 secs left. Went for a run. Got about 10. Time out. 2 secs left, long bomb drops short and broken up. First play from OT, he breaks off a monster 80 yard TD to win.

So in the end Fournette has like 190 yards rushing and 3 TDs (there was a 2 yard goalline dive, after I'd stonewalled him 3 or 4 times at the 1). But apart from those two big runs, fair enough he GOT THEM, so they count, but without them, Fournette would've been more like 20 odd carries for 40 odd yards.

first Q i was trying to figure you out. you were not blitzing like you normally do. Second half when you didnt push players out of zones was more like you normally play. blitzes and having the slot CB as a read on a bunch of plays like most of the ones i have a TE/Slot as first read and then HB as 2nd

I'm only joking, but it will be interesting.

My offense is ranked 32nd because I tanked the week 1 game and have been ultra conservative all season. But my run game has been very good and Brady has been going super ******* accurate (mostly against the CPU FWIW)

I just know Mixon and esp Green are huge for you

haven't even looked at the stats for that game, could be an AFCCG preview tho

looking at the replay. if you threw to Green you might of had the TD. He was open if you threw it over the LB and would of been close to the goalline before the CB hit him.
I want soft in quarters on the last drive you had some other plays earlier that you could of had if you didnt take the quick outs.

Damn

I was anticipating having to throw a 25 yarder to win it so was just trying to get little chunks up field. And you kept giving me those outs to DT. But the last one failed me and cost me time, kind of a wasted play

This is how the game basically went chronologically, if one wants to make sense of the highlights....

Basically Blacky and myself both bottled each other up on D. I was trying to run the ball but Mixon had like 10 carries for 12 yards. Fournette also struggled with like 7 carries for 10 yards. Bridgewater was getting sacked a lot and missing wide open targets. But Kellen was killing him. But Eiffert fumbled in the redzone. Lost opportunity. He went three and out multiple times. Bridgewater was like 0/7 early on. I kept converting 3rd and long with Kellen strikes downfield, but then threw a pick. He again went three and out, and this time a 50 yard bomb to Green for the TD. Me up 6-0 near the end of the half. Then he had a great long drive, Bridgewater finally started to connect and Fournette getting 4 yard runs. He drove it up to the goalline, I stonewalled him 3 or 4 times, but eventually he barged over to lead 7-6. It stayed that way thru the entire second half. I never punted, turning the ball over in his half of the field. He punted often. I had the ball with about 1-2 mins left, driving effortlessly into his redzone. Then I threw that back-breaking pick where his CB peels off Mixon in the flat and jumps the corner route Eifert was taking.

So it was 7-6 for like all but the last 1 minute of the game. Points explosion in the dying minute and first play of OT.

That's the take-away from this game.....when you play Blacky, you might be able to stop Fournette, but Blacky persists and eventually he'll break some huge TD runs and/or get a good drive going where he mixes up the short passes with Fournette barging thru traffic for 4 yard gains, and Bridgewater scrambling for 10 yards. You can't contain Blacky ALL game. But I feel I lost that game, considering I pretty much dominated, on both O and D for most of the game, but for the costly turnovers.

I make no secret of my gameplan...I try to run and open up the play-action for always deep shots to my outside receivers. Mixing in a screen here and there or a pass to the TE down the seam. And if my run gets bottled, I'll just drop back and go vertical all the time. Don't care if I get picked off, I feel I can "bend not break" on D, giving up FGs rather than TDs.

Credit to Blacky tho, don't want what I wrote to disparage him at all, just feel I let myself down.

Have you played GG?

I was doing it a bit. Mostly bringing extra protection because my line couldn’t block
He played me about week 3 I think. He won 9-6 i think. I scored a TD early, missed the PAT. Dominated the first half. Then he figured me out a bit, mixed up his plays, he scored a TD, either missed the PAT or went for 2 and missed it. Then I turned the ball over at the end going for deep throws to get into FG range in the dying mins. He drove upfield and kicked a FG to win.

Again, similar game....we both bottled each other up, defensive struggle. A turnoever here or there from whomever at the end would result in the winner.

Same type of game versus Blacky.

When you play human-human games, you can expect them to always be like this....very even thru the game, and one side blowing it with turnovers.

the 3rd and goal that i scored the GW TD on you covered well. i changed to play to have Ty go from blocking to the wheel. he was open if i didnt run it with Rodgers. my 3 reads were taken. i had ran that play a few times before including on that drive. If i threw to the TE it could of been picked or incomplete, Nelson on the slant had to run through 3 zones. Cobb was covered but ended up clearing out the middle for Ty.

on the 25yd pass you threw to Sanders before the CJ 5yd TD run. my CB Randall has his arm stuck in Sanders hand, thats how close it was to a PBU.
I will post a few clips tomorrow. they should be saved.
