paying an extra $30 to get Madden a few days early is an amazing scam EA use to exploit problem gamblers or people with addictive tendancies/impulse control issues, because unless you play MUT its not worth it. and i say this as someone who did fall down the MUT rabbit hole in the past, and on more than one occasion did fall victim to the predatory casino like tactics it uses to get people to buy points and exclusive packs.

starting a franchise is pointless for the first few weeks till updated rosters and better sliders are out. My first few weeks will be just in the QB1/Superstar mode

I prefer digital, hence why I bought digital.

I'm liking the feel to 20 so far. The animations and speed has already given a more realistic feel to sitations than 19 i feel.

Early days as I only quickly jumped on last night and played a little bit of an exhibiiton, MUT and QB1.

Even in it's sort of 'cosmetic' like form playing a College playoff game is really fun, haven't played the Champ game yet.

I was watching someone play as Denver against the Chargers, Bosa had like 10 sacks in the game with 6min Q's. Like OL is broken against good pass rush. Even sliding protection did nothing.

Yeah even the custom sliders could never quite fix the ridciuclous amounts of sacks in 19 either.

I tried a few and it never seemed to anyway.

I like a few of the new features, like the Superstar X factor stuff, scenario engine in franchise and stretching the ratings so that high rated players matter more.

But it sounds like they still haven't fixed a number of things that would make a long term franchise viable (which is mostly what I would want to buy this for) such as trade logic, contract logic for non-QBs and sim stats not being particularly good. Oh and they still don't keep stats or season results from previous years like NBA 2k has done for ages

From what I've seen zone is busted more than ever. Like sometimes safety will just do nothing. Either play too deep or play shallow and not follow a WR past.

I just wish they would spend time overhauling franchise mode. Just f*** Ultimate team. Which is the only mode that consistantly gets updates.

f**kin LOL. the game makes you play the pro bowl right away. im NFL because i set my fav team as the Packers, I take the kickoff back for a TD the commentary comes up with "And just like that the AFC take the lead"
