Who will we be taking at pick 59?

Who do you think we should be taking and why?

Who will be left?

Any bolters or more importantly sliders?

I think we should draft Panos with pick 59...
Pick 43 should be used on a potential slider in this draft such as McMillan-Pittard, Griffiths or Troy Taylor. Any other names please folks.
59 on someone who is in the category of "Will be one of those who if they don't get drafted this year will go very early next year", perhaps Ayton Kennedy or Houghton.
Panos will not go pick 12 IMO. 59, rookie List.:) Oh, and don't forget the Tasmanian in Daniel Archer, if he's anything like our other Tassie boys in Robinson and Joseph then we have something.
That's the way we've been drafting over the years and it would be very handy to get them before next year with GC having all the picks, wouldn't it?:thumbsu:;)

There's been little talk of Mason and its my understanding that he wasn't invited to DC or SS?

Mason has had an exceptional year, kicking 29 goals in 17 games including semi, prelim and grand final. Is a good size with skill and more importantly, mongrel. Something we lack. Would make an excellent replacement for Judd when he eventually retires.

The boys in the West rate him but only see him as a rookie. IMO Carlton should take a punt and select him with pick 43.

Page 3 of the attached link has a small write up about Mason and other potential draftees.

Another player who I rate and would consider taking with pick 12 is Brad Sheppard.

Yes, he's not a KPP but our backline could definately use his skill, dash and versitility. His bio makes for interesting reading and Carlton could do with highly skilled players who won't butcher the ball and can hit targets.

Sheppard also follows Carlton. What more could you want? Just my twenty cents worth.
Spot on.:thumbsu:
He can also push upfield and play on the wing, onball or even forward as well, and if O'Keeffe can make an impression next year as well then we've got something going for us here.
Didn't know he was a Carlton supporter either.;)

A project full back...

Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them?

Fremantle because my family supported a WA team close to home.

Sheppard is obviously a glutton for punishment.

Cameron Kickett.

194 cms Ruckman ... perhaps he could hold down a KPF role?

Wouldn't we get a KPF to hold down a KPF role?
At Pick #43 I'm not sure on the quality of KPF left available.

Kickett is said to be a freak athlete, the most raw talent in the draft pool and can do the impossible on the ground.

However, like Yarran - he's said to appear 'lazy' in his efforts.

TGM,Brad Sheppard actually supports Fremantle :(. The newspaper clipping on page 3 go it's facts wrong .

Regardless of who he follows, I still believe selecting Sheppard at pick 12 will be justified sooner rather than later :thumbsu:.
