Shocking, that's the difference with gun laws though, if this was USA, then 50 people would be dead. You'd expect the police to have put him down

Reports of a 2nd assailant could just be Police wanting to be sure that there was only one and taking all precautions in having a search and being on guard in case there was more than one, or an assistant/handler(s) in the vicinity.

This could easily be misconstrued that there is concrete evidence that there was more than one on the scene.

I think witnesses were confused as some people were fighting back. They confirmed so far just the one lowlife.
