David Myers will play more games in the ressies this year than the ones.

Reason being, he's just no good.
Hasn't played for Bendigo since Hird took over. Coaches obviously rate him if that's the case

i was bit surprised at how sudden opinion turned against Dell this season, so I guess i'll back him to not be shit and possibly even get upgraded at seasons end
I hope so. Everyone loved him after the Carlton game, then it all went downhill.

Dempsey AA
LeCras Coleman
Brisbane Top 8
Essendon Top 4
Cooney back to form
J. Brown with a big year
Carlton and Adelaide miss the 8

There seems to be quiet optimism about this from a few people, including McCartney.

Reckon this would please all footy fans.
Agreed. Would be good to see him justify his Brownlow.

His 2008 season justified it >_>
Sorry baby. x
Justify was probably the wrong word. My bad, I'm very hungover.

It would be good to see him back to 2008 form? He can be among the best when he's fully fit, so it'd be good to see him return to what made people take notice of him in the first place.

He never had the chance to back it up really. Judd had 2005-06 to keep performing as the pacy superstar that he was before injury forced him to change. Most of the other recent medallists haven't had any sort of crippling injuries, so Judd's really the only comparison.

I expect Brisbane to make the eight, they're a real dark horse. Doubt they'll do much in the finals, but they could be the ones to edge out teams like the Kangaroos, Richmond, Carlton etc.

Oh, and us... :(

They beat the bottom 5 sides 8 times, and the Crows and Eagles in close wins at Brisbane. Everyone else beat them(often fairly comfortably).

Once again they have 8 games against the last years bottom 5, assuming they win them all(certainly not a given) they'll still need another 5-6 more wins + good enough percentage, I think they'll fall short.

After a so-so start to the season on the back of outdated tactics, Malthouse to be sacked after he coaches his side to a crushing defeat against GWS or GCS

Man you are one ugly bustard for a Ess supporter:eek:

I gotta say if I seen you at the footy in an Ess jumper I would run a mile, but if you were wearing a Pies jumper, I would reckon you were a good looking sort .

On topic;
Melki to play every game this year on merit.[/quote

Actually I predicted that Brisbane would chalk up 10 wins in 2012 - Many laughed at me - I thought 2011 was a better season - They were a bit flaky in 2012 - Think they will again be around 10 wins - 2014 is there chance for the eight.

Conversely, Rockliff over his OP, Leuenberger back, Martin in allowing Merrett to go back, Staker back, Moloney in. Not to mention that the majority of their core small brigade (Redden, Rockliff, Rich, Hanley in particular) still have plenty of scope for improvement.

There's tons and tons of upside there against the possibility that last year was an overachievement based on fixture.
