The yellow jumper is awesome. What jumper is that? The heritiage for this year?
I don't know if you are serious but I'll treat the question as though you are. It was the jumper that the first ever Eagles team played in when they entered the competition in 1987.

Definitely agree with the away jumper and yellow peril being our two jumpers.

For the record, I must be one of the few people on earth who actually liked the Ochre. Even owned one when I was young.

F*** that is awesome.

Shame on the club for retiring it in the first place

I would love to see the premiership jumper as our home jumper and the yellow peril as our away strip. I was there for the first game and this bought back great memories. It will be something to bring this jumper out of mothballs.

I didn't mind the navy blue wings deisgn we had in the late 90's. I'm not really fussed whether we wear navy or royal on any guernsey...just as long as it is a wings design.

The club has said that the home guernsey is 'popular'. Well of course it is. I reckon most Eagles fans will buy anything the club brings out. I have 11 different guernseys but I don't like the designs on them all. Most people despise the ochre guernsey, but a guernsey collection is not complete without one and they are highly sought after now.

Changing both guernseys late 99 was the worst thing the club ever did. We went from a traditional, bold and simple design to complex and radical designs that really failed to acknowledge the winning tradition we built wearing blue and gold wings. Like the OP said, we started in those colours, won premierships in those colours and then they were scrapped completely.

I cannot see the tri-colour going anywhere. It has been around for 12 years now (even longer if you count the BGC) and kids who are just starting high school have grown up with it and would not know a time without it.

You could have said the same thing in 1998 - I had grown up with the "wings" from 87-98 and din't know a time without it.

Perhaps for that reason, my pref is current away (wings) - home, and yellow peril (updated to current logo, as earlier in this thread) away/clash.

Failing which, an updated version of the 96-98 wings, home/away would be great, though we would need a clash as well.

Now stop arguing with me or I will post the ochre again

These threads always descened to compromise with "I like the navy, make it navy with wings".

I hate the navy. It was not our original colour scheme and while it may look "meaner" I just don't like it. I'd prefer royal blue and yellow and that is it. Wings design. No compromise.

For mine.

Home: Navy with yellow wings.

Away: Royal with yellow wings.

Clash: Yellow with royal wings.

Done.

Yes please.

- The current home jumper is not a crap jumper because it's navy, it's just a crapola design.

- the royal jumper looks way better with white shorts than it does with royal shorts

- I'm not sure why people think dumping navy is a good idea. Do they not realise that all our casual merchandise is navy? Both royal&gold and navy&gold are our corporate branding and it's important that we claim them as ours.

- As others suggested, not sure why we have hard and fast navy=home, royal=away rules? I think once the fixture is out the club should map out what jumper we play in depending on opposition colours. V melb = royal, V North = navy, v Bulldogs = yella pezza etc

It's a bit strange that some people are saying that no one likes the home jumper even though it continues to get good sales.

The club will most likely never get rid of navy (it just sells too well) and the best compromise is if we bring back the navy wings of the late 90's, IMO the navy wings look great aswell.

I'd like us to wear:

Home- Navy wings
Away- Royal wings
Clash- Yellow peril
