Send a letter to the club requesting a member survey, they sprook they give a shit about their members and I reckon that over 70% would want our away jumper as our home strip and the yellow as our away strip.
Jumper sales are a stupid argument because whatever the jumper is that is what will sell.
If they have any opinion of their members then a simple survey would not be hard for them to do.

When I first saw the big birds in the heritage strip first round last year I thought it was awesome, surely theyll keep it (minus the names)....but next round back to drab camoflauge navy....FS!

I had never felt compelled to buy a jumper - i just don't go around wearing it.
However last year's heritage jumper just screamed "buy me" and I couldn't resist - getting Peter Sumich's number on the back. And when I bought it at the Richmond game - they had only just got more stock in (the day before) as they had been completely overwhelmed with orders.

All in all, the Eagles marketing have got a lot of things wrong with our kit, but muscling in and claiming navy blue and gold as an Eagles brand is not one of them.

I'm pretty confident most prefer navy. The amount of men's fashion that is navy is not a coincidence.
I think if the royal kit was used at home games a bit more, or they played in a navy with gold wings, then the royal supporters wouldn't have such an issue.
The home jumper is pretty shit but it's not the navy that is the problem. I'm just not understanding why the wings design is not used at home?

Disregarding the now-obselete Hungry Jacks logo, I really like the yellow design, just think it'd be so much nicer with yellow shorts though.

Mate you need to realise that the majority of people who buy jumpers would do so no matter the design, because they love WCE. If the home design was a pink jumper with a screenprint of Wally Matera spreading his hairy arse cheeks and doing a dump on Ozzie Ostrich, it would still fly out the door, for that reason.
The WCE jumper will continue to get good sales, because WCE are a very popular team.

Is it a requirement that all clubs incorperate white into their clash strip? Cos we should at least use the yellow peril for a clash strip. Seriously that jumper should be glued onto all big bird supporters. Its amazing.

This. Definately this. There is no need for white on eagles jumper. Or any design other than Wings.
But good luck. A lot of people tried telling the club that last year (and many other years). I've written emails which were 'taken under consideration', joined facebook groups etc etc

Dogs fans completed a massive petition, the bulk of them were members, to revert to our traditional strip. Most dogs fans had hated the robodog guernsey for the 15 years of its existence.
A few dogs supporters on here persistently emailed the club about this issue and eventually the club created a poll on the website. The traditional strip won hands down, and is the now the jumper we'll be wearing from here on. Through persistent emailing and calls they sat up and listened, which is awesome.
I reckon the blue and yellow guernsey should be your home strip, and yellow peril for your away. Simple, effective.

would love to see the yellow peril come in but really the blue and gold away gurensey should stay away due to the history of the club.

I also believe that the wings design makes us look bigger and meaner. It Kind of buffs our pecs and shoulders out. Much more intimidating especially in nave and gold wings. We will look like ninjas with golden chest plates.
