If Mundy goes then Andrew Krakour is a must get IMO.

If Mundy goes we'd probably get around pick 8. We would use this on Jack Darling or whoever. Then use our next pick on Krakour. There's no way he will go before then.

I would of course prefer Mundy to stay but if we got this then I'd be satisfied.

Don't know if the media/rumours of a Krakouer-GC-WCE deal are true. If so he may already be gone to help ensure WCE improvement and Woosha's job retention next year. Not that retaining Woosha would be a bad thing for Freo

Harry Taylor has played some good footy but he looked out of his depth against Collingwood. For the first time the Cats backline was getting a hiding and he was slow, made poor decisions and got caught with the ball. Could have been just a bad game but he was very average.

Hooker can do certain things really, really well (killed Roo), he's an impressive athlete and has decent skills.
Just makes bad decisions too often.

We just offloaded Peake, Tambling would be a full 180 on everything we've worked for over the last 3 years.

Telling you now that it is a straight out race between Fremantle/Carlton and Melbourne for Mundy's services next year.

He is meeting with Carlton and Melbourne today and you can expect a decision early next week in regards to his future.

If he goes Freo will get good compensation for this trade...

Essendon are at the very least as good a chance as those other two clubs of securing his services if he does return to Victoria and have already done a large degreee of groundwork.

Yeah I saw him, a few good matches here or there will never change his reputation and his consistency will never improve. Being in the saints 22 doesn't say anything about him that people don't already know, when the team's up, he's up, when they're down his imput goes down quicker than Knights's coaching career.

From what I have heard, Essendon are not in the race.....

I am not dismissing what they could trade or offer Mundy in terms of $, but I am fairly certain it is now down to the 3 teams listed as Mundy wants to be part of ongoing success and sees Freo/Melb/Carl as those most likely to be able to offer him a good run at a flag.
