Since the 2015 edition is front and centre, let's have a crack at 2017. Will be a little harder now I suspect.

2, Dogs crucify their opponent in first good Friday footy match.

3, Dogs will have six or more Friday night games.

1. Dogs go back to back after finishing 2nd

2. The Bont wins the Brownlow by 3 votes

3. Macrae announces himself to the rest of the football world and makes AA

More outright fantasies than bold predictions:

1. Travis Cloke leads Coleman after 8 rounds, which angers Collingwood supporters and some of them take up Bulldogs memberships which gives us a historic 60,000+ membership base

2. Dogs top four finish, makes it into the grand final after winning finals week 1, with Bevo proving that the week off before the finals start and before the prelim isn't a hindrance

3. Dogs back to back, with most of the injured during our finals campaign in 2016 winning in the 2017 campaign. M.Boyd and Morris revealing they were playing under crippling pain throughout the season, but pushed through it for Bob

1. Josh Prudden finishes off an amazing recovery from his ACL to break into the side by round 16 making him an unlikely AFL premiership player.

2 Peter Gordon to broker a deal with the AFL that Etihad can only serve Mission Foods products for the next 50 years. Meaning mission's profits rise and their sponsorship dollars rise for us.

3 libba backs it up with a 200 no at stumps

1 - Bulldogs to finish top 4
2 - Geelong and Hawthorn to slide
3 - Bulldogs to break membership record again
4 - Stress as people worry about whether Eureka stadium is ready in time for our match
5 - Cloke to kick the most goals next year
6 - Our forward line starts pulling its finger out and become top 3 offensively
7 - JDJ to win Charlie .....Sutton
8 - Footscray to not win a final
9 - Dees make finals

1. Dogs reduce debt to $3m, plan to have it paid off by end of 2018.

2. Bulldogs v GWS GF; neutral support surprisingly even, due to tall poppy syndrome backlash against Dogs.

3. Murphy, Boyd & Morris retire. Bont named Captain.

1. Package & Boyd combine for 90 goals next season

2. Shane Biggs named All Australian HBF (this is not a bold statement)

3. We wont lose a game all year

1. Brad Lynch turns into the new Dustin Martin

2. JJ finishes a close second in the brownlow.... to Bont

3. Get accused of throwing the last 3 matches because we are 5 games clear on top

1. Bailey Williams to win the rising star

2. Dogs to finish top 4 but miss the grand final

3. Massive pressure release on Tom Boyd who will kick 40+ goals in 2017

Back to back

Tom Boyd has independant market valuation of $5m per year making him the most cost effective recruit in AFL history with 2 premierships 1.5 Norm Smiths and 1 AA

Dogs remain unbeaten in Ballarat
