yep, which for mine just adds to suspicions the authorities were up to no good. & iirc there were
2 guilty & 1 undecided, those 2 must have been very convincing. How often a count like that would be turned around would be interesting to know, cant be very often I would think
Wow sat on this thread for the past few weeks and then as I said earlier today, did the binge and finished it off tonight.
1. The fact that the Cops had the Avery car yard for 8 days...8 days of coming and going!
2. The Brandon leading-questioning was dreadful. I am sure that in Victoria and probably Australia that this type of interview, without an adult or chaperone for a minor, would be inadmissible.
3. From the Episode where the Brother and Ex B/f are questioned by the media as to wtf they are doing there, had me thinking that the Ex B/f and Roomy were involved.
4. What the hell was that Cop calling in the number plate to dispatch before the car was found? It sounded to me like he was there reading the number plate out to the dispatch.
5. One pubic hair gets a man out of jail 18 years later.
Too much to digest all at once.
And yeh, it happened in Australia.
Lindy Chamberlain.
The wheels are turning quickly with this show by the sounds of it. What happens when the news cycle dies off?

He did it while there was also some ******y going on with the evidence when the cops couldn't find anything substantial at the ranch. The kid was also pulling some Primal Fear shit.
Brendon had already shown 1. he's a moron with very little comprehension of right and wrong and 2. he was easily bullied into doing things in the confession video so when you think about it, if he goes to Steven's and Steven aggressively tells him to rape and cut her, he would. If his mother aggressively asks why he'd say all that when he didn't do it, he'd tell her he didn't know and agree that he didn't do it
But if they had stabbed her and cut her throat how do you explain the complete lack of DNA evidence. I don't think Steven or Brandon are capable of removing every speck of Teressa's DNA from Steven's house. Realistically her blood should be in the bedding, mattress, carpet and the carpet underlay.
Even if they did meticulously clean the room with bleach they couldn't clean the carpet without staining it.

I would have it as a guess that there is a Family like the Avery's in every town of Australia. Having lived in 4 or 5 over my time in Victoria I could name a family from every town over those 40 odd years of my life.
From afar it easy to feel sympathetic towards the Avery's ..and I do. ..but I do wonder when they are your neighbor and they have a reputation and perception how many people feel sympathy towards these outsiders?

not that I really believed much of what he said, but where's there smoke...Steven had been convicted for burglary so who knows what he actually got away with & what the rest of them were up to, certainly not a family of angels by any means, but rapists & murders? dunno
...the Prosecutor says and wat book in the Usa would have such content?.... thinking it was a 'gotch ya moment '......?and he comes straight back at him with that answer....Prosecutor was dumbfounded.

Can't help but think his lawyer didn't adequately prepare him. Not once did he mention be coerced or pressured to make his statement. That along with the fact they didn't play the last part of the video confession where he told his mother the police had "got inside" his head make me wonder if his lawyer didn't have any impure motives.
