Malceski catastrophe

AWFUL, awful news ... the injury to Malceski is, by early reports, an ACL and he's gone for the season, according to the Fox callers

I switched back to the cricket at 3/4 time and flicked back on to see Leigh Colbert interviewing Hodge...

I did see the Malceski knee, i saw the ice pack and I saw the manipulations the doctors were doing to the knee... brought back painful memories of when I did my knee (medial, ACL and lateral cartiledge) in May last year...

In the last did they give any more info... early prognosis ACL?

For his sake and the swans I hope it wasnt... and having just had one and on my last stages of Rehab I now have the upmost respect for players who come back from this injury!

All the best to Malceski!

Re: Nick Malceski - Possible ACL

This was really the worst possible result out of this match. Even if we won the match we would still have lost.

Re: Nick Malceski - Possible ACL

I feel like crying.

It hasn't been confirmed yet though has it?
Not it hasn't, but his knee just kind of went after he put pressure on it trying to turn (no impact at all), so it looks real bad, I think.

Just pray that it's only a medial or something like that...
Anyone has any idea which ACL torn Malceski torn earlier?

^I thought you'd know which knee he torned, I was sort of depending on you seeing as before in the other thread you mentioned how you always cringe everytime Malceski tackles or something. Darnit... I'm soo distressed at the moment. I was hoping for confirmed news about his knee.

I feel like crying too... :(

It was just confirmed in the thread on the swans website. Absolutely gutted.

Real shame for Malceski - terrible news for you guys.

Hopefully the recovery is a speedy and successful one.

Aside from the injury there were some encouraging signs for you guys today from what I saw of the game.

Re: Nick Malceski - Possible ACL

i'm absolutely spewing like the rest of you

i am 100% sure he would have dominated again this season!!!

however we do have the best medical/rehabilitation/fitness staff going around so i'm sure malceski will come back just as good as he was, whether it be at the end of the year or next year :(

damn that andrew demietrou (spelling) and his stupid/pointless NAB CUP

Re: Nick Malceski - Possible ACL

Watching the game.. it didn't look like much but similar to what Kennelly suffered.. :(

First they iced up his knee but when he was walking back to the changerooms he looked pretty shattered..

God damn it..
