Why does Malcolm Blight say (for the last 2 weeks) there will be big changes and there isnt any? this week only 1 change and last week 3 changes all due to injury.

does nayone think st kilda have improved?

and why did everett and also blight say this week that you'll see the differences??????

fair point samm, i'm sick of hearing high profile people in the club talk about change and 'we will improve blah blah blah', yet all we get is the same piss weak effort dished up to us every week.

talk is cheap and easy, if they back their words with action on the field fair enough but this year up to date all we have to show after four games are broken hollow promises.

hopefully when blighty talks about change he is referring to a cohesive team plan that all the players can follow and deliver on. not the slow insipid bombing into the forward line that we have seen over the last few weeks.

thompson has to move onto the ball, as a defender he has been pitiful. hall into the forward line and gehrig onto a forward flank, loewe at ff and hamill on the other flank, throw milne and everitt into the mix and we have a potent forward line. we have the players to create a bit of firepower up forward, lets take the initiative and have them worrying about us for a change.

it will still take a while for our team to gel especially as blight will throw players into diferent positions to test them out. i am still confident that we will improve this year and play some good footy, i just hope its sooner rather than later.

we need a good win over a quality opposition to lift the confidence of the team and create a positive environment at the club. the time for words has finished it's now time to deliver.

having bragging rights over those pompous pricks at carlton would also be a huge bonus.

After 3 losses you would think there would be more changes.

Ironically Milne and Koschitzke have been welcome additions but it appears the Selection Commitee don`t believe Davis,Begley,Blake,Walton,Knowles,Schwarze,orCharles are capable of replacing those selected.

I notice that Harvey is injured and pulled out to be replaced by Baker.

Hudgton will improve the defence which has been pathetic. It will be interesting to see if Blight perseveres with Hall at fullback. Also if he keeps Gehrig in the backline.

I had expected a win tomorrow but with Harvey out we will be pushing.
