I'd love to know the % won of games when Robran played. Not a superstar but his presence seemed to straighten us up
I reckon Robran would have to rank as one of our biggest underrated ex-players. Whenever he plays well I don't think we'd be losing many games. Can take some big marks and can kick long bomb goals as good as anyone. Also a proven Finals player, usually a good marker of a great player.

Robran was a prelim specialist. Was fairly quiet on the big stage if I recall.

Never rated Robran.

The fact John Klug is overlooked is a disgrace and shows how much Blight has lost it
He was great in 1991. Thats all he played. His back problems cut his career short. Matthy Robran was important in those premiership years but for longevity Tex has to be the CHF

There is a show on SEN on Sunday mornings at 10am (Melbourne time) called This Is Your Sporting Life hosted by Peter Donegan, last week the guest was Malcolm Blight talking about his football career. This Sunday it is again Malcolm talking about his time at the Adelaide Football Club.

Wow, no Brodie Smith love in here? If I had to take peak Brodie Smith vs Peak Nigel Smart i'd take Brodie every day of the week. No disrespect to Nigel Smart either, but in terms of impact HBFers you just don't get much better then Brodie Smith

You're memory must be fading badly, Nigel the footballer was huge for the AFC

Maybe if Smith comes back and plays to his dominating best, at the end of his career you could have a debate

But at the moment, Smart is far far ahead of Smith.

Smart in his day was sublime.
