Who thinks Malcolm blights kick in the 1975 or 1977 ? Grand Final is absoulutley awesome ? He kicked the winning goal from about 80 metres out with only mere seconds remaining in the game.

Something I love seeing every Grand Final Marathon

BUT I AM A CROWS FAN THOUGH

It was actually 1976 in a homa&away game against Carlton at Princes Oval. The siren had gone and he had to kick at least 70 metres and made it easily. He had the same chance, the following year against Hawthorn at Arden St in the mud, but kicked out on the full and North lost!!

The kick was great... but everyone seems to overestimate it and say it was the longest kick in history.. It was at Princes Park and he was actually on in line with edge of the square on the wing. We know that PP is real small aos is that statement supposed to be a joke or what? Anthony Rocca and Ben Graham have had kicks longer than that! Graham's was probably 85-90 metres...

Yes their kicks were probably longer but Blighty's is much celebrated because of the pressue situation he was in and because Malcolm is one of the greatest champions the game will ever see.

That shlould get you anti anything non victorian people going
