There has been footy but no news!! Are Beulah a little nervous about Sonny hitting form and Brett Knowles being signed for Ouyen.
Sea Lake have got everyone back and look very competitive lately.
I think they could knockoff anyone in a one off final on any given day.

Any news on why Sonny didnt play sat. Have herd he was just a no show and is demanding big dollars to play next week. But is definately worth every cent if Ouyen want to win the flag now.

Heard a few different rumors.
. 1. Not allowed to travel too far from home due to a court ruling? 2. Injured? 3. Just didn't turn up? 4. Maybe Bronc opened his wallet to get him to crawl under a rock for a few weeks? J/R would hope so too.
Anyone??? Anyone? Gillards broadband roll out not reached up there yet?

Don't believe everything you hear PP but No. 3 might be close. Hopefully he shows up at Underbool this week, as they need him to assist Connick in breaking the back line structures.

He showed up ...well held by Dingo most of the day. Knowles didnt play and was was sore in his last game too. Tough day at the office for Ouyen. conditions didnt help their smaller team of runners. Good effort by JR and would have taken a lot out of the legs of Ouyen, although they are the fittest team I have seen for a while though.
Beulah, just, in a very close one. Ouyen's last 3 or 4 players not as good as Beulah's and they have to get game time, thats the difference for me.

Well congratulations to the Beulah Football Club on taking out the double. Premiers and Champions is an awesome achievement, were clearly the best team all season! Interesting to note one or 2 people on here at the start of the season didn't even have them in the top 4 and many still were tipping Ouyen in the big one.

Ouyen spent a very large amount again and it didnt work and Walpeup/underbool threw a bit too, but didnt get the players the money was supposed to supply. Quality for money is what everyone chases and Beulah got that Congrats!
Whats the news for next season, any big guns still staying around or have the vultures swooped already and recruiting started?
Does the leauge look healthy enough for numbers????

Scott Smith announced on Sunday that he will be staying on as coach at Beulah next season, will be interesting to see how many of their local boys who travelled this season decide to travel again.
Garry Hallam won the 1st's B&F in a close one ahead of the coach

you have been shelving pingers if you think that any other team in the mallee spent half as much as ouyen did this year...and judging by the record on saturday the beulah side seemed to be almost all family names.. very bad call carro.

love to know what a pinger is. everyone hears different stories but the ones circulating around this way is 170k on players beulah way. only know of a few players wages but they would have to play a few more years to get the wages up that high. as for locals all but four are born and bred ouyen .
